  1. That is part of the airbag control unit. You will likely need PIWIS or Durametric to scan for faults.
  2. Yes. Overtightened. or broken / shorted wire or even a bad ignition switch.
  3. Hmm... you will likely need to use Durametric or Porsche PIWIS to see if there are alarm/lock control faults.
  4. Any chance the control unit got wet? (it's under the drivers seat)

  6. As I recall there is a cap on the inside of the car that gives you access to remove it.

  8. Did you use the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ to get your serial number?
  9. What else does not work? Headlights, brake lights, radio? etc.

  11. That is reading a DFI "control unit faulty". Try clearing the codes and see if they come back.
  12. Check fuse 40 (Fuse support left ) with an ohm meter.
