  1. The little plastic rivet/screws just pop in. There is really nothing else to it. Not all of mine have washers just a couple of the outside ones. The toughest part of this is the ground clearance... it would probably be easier to work on if you drove up on some boards to get more ground clearance.
  2. Thanks guys.... upgrade is almost done... lots of new features... :clapping:
  3. Chris, Do you have the part number(s) for what they replaced?
  4. I think Gert has a set of drop link mounts too. Try emailing him at Gert@Carnewal.com
  5. I just did this two days ago... I should have taken pictures. I used P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner. I took the wheels off the car sprayed them with the cleaner and let the spray sit for about 10 minutes. Then I took a sponge and scrubbed them -- surprisingly even tar just popped off the wheels. Sprayed them off with water, dryed them. Then I waxed the wheels before putting them back on. Took about an hour.
  6. Patrick is correct. Here is a couple of pics...
  7. We will be updating the forum software very soon so they might be some slight interruptions and some fine tuning for a day or two. I'll post a short list of new features when the changes are complete. Thank you for your patience!!
  8. For a MY99 C2 use: A and B = 129.6 mm and C = 35 +-1 mm
  9. Yes, you may need to use some 3M adhesive remover also. Here are the dimensions for a MY01 C4
  10. Jeff is right. All cars with Litronics/Bi-Xenons have these angle sensors for automatic headlight beam adjustment on the left front and left rear.
  11. The parts guide just calls it "sensor" and calls out option M601... but M601 is not defined in the list...
  12. We made a separate forum catagory for Cayenne so that is can have it's own DIY, Tips and Tricks, as well as Part Number section. Enjoy! :D
  13. For about $125 I got piece of mind (and the ability to turn off my own CEL light). The software (and cable) will also give you the fault code so you know what caused it. Nothing fancy (or expensive it just works). Not trying to sell the stuff... just a happy customer. www.obd-2.com
  14. My understanding for standard and sport suspensions is: Standard: Front 146# Rear 203# Sport: Front 170# Rear 260#
  15. The number I gave you is the part number from the Porsche Tequipment Catalog (and also the part number a dealer would use to order it). It includes the muffler and electronics but does not include the dash switch. The dash switch (if you want it) is sold separately).
  16. If you are talking about the Carrera it is the same as the US version: 000 044 200 19
  17. 996 631 164 10 has been replaced with 996 631 164 11 and only shows on the RoW parts list (not a US part). It is a (left hand traffic) left front headlight. It can also be used with the Europe only headlight aim control.
  18. Well, the primary difference is US/Canada cars come with US ride height while RoW cars come with the slightly lower ride height. Lower (or slightly shorter springs also means a little stiffer. Here are the specs for US and RoW C4S (with 18" wheels): US/Canadian C4S axle height" Front: 158 mm (+ or - 10 mm) Rear: 163 mm (+ or - 10 mm) RoW C4S axle height: Front: 138 mm (+ or - 10 mm) Rear: 153 mm (+ or - 10 mm) So the difference is RoW is 20 mm lower in front and 10 mm lower in the rear (same as Carrera's) Actually, it looks like they just changed the part number for both. 996 333 051 24 has been replaced by 996 333 051 28 for both model years. I have corrected the table above also.
  19. MY02-03 TT - 6 speed -- RoW M030 (sport suspension) Front Springs: 996 343 533 18 Front Shocks: 996 343 043 17 Front Sway Bar: no change Rear Springs: 996 333 531 44 (from 992S6 82161 on) Rear Shocks: 996 333 051 17 Rear Sway Bar: no change
  20. Paul, I corrected it above. My mistake. The rear spring is different from MY01 to MY02. It is now correct above.
  21. Just an FYI... all C4S and TT come with either US or RoW Sport suspension. MY02 C4S - 6 speed -- RoW M030 (sport suspension) Front Springs: 996 343 533 30 Front Shocks: 996 343 043 26 Front Sway Bar: no change Rear Springs: 996 333 531 48 Rear Shocks: 996 333 051 28 Rear Sway Bar: no change MY03 C4S - 6 speed -- RoW M030 (sport suspension) Front Springs: 996 343 533 30 Front Shocks: 996 343 043 26 Front Sway Bar: no change Rear Springs: 996 333 531 48 Rear Shocks: 996 333 051 28 Rear Sway Bar: no change MY01 TT - 6 speed -- RoW M030 (sport suspension) Front Springs: 996 343 533 18 Front Shocks: 996 343 043 17 Front Sway Bar: no change Rear Springs: 996 333 531 19 Rear Shocks: 996 333 051 17 Rear Sway Bar: no change
  22. I don't think so. The seat cushions are just a shell on the frames. I don't think they are that hard to take off -- except that you have to break some of the plastic clips and replace them when you re-install.
  23. I can't see your picture (some hobbystage issue). I sent you another email with info...
