  1. :welcome: P1571 (Porsche code 39) Immobilizer – Open Circuit / No Signal – Open circuit in wiring between DME control module and alarm system – Short circuit to ground or short circuit to B+ – Alarm system control module faulty Check to see if it is wet under the left hand seat. When water gets into the car the first place it runs to is the alarm/central locking/immobilizer box under that seat.
  2. P1124 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation Area 1 (Cylinders 1 - 3) - Rich Threshold P1126 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation Area 1 (Cylinders 4 - 6) - Rich Threshold This means that your mixture is running too lean - that is, the DME can not make the mixture rich enough to compensate for additional air. Potential fault areas: - Intake air system leaking. - Fuel pressure too low. - Volume supply of fuel pump too low. - Fuel injectors fouled. A really bad MAF reading can cause this as well as intake leaks (cracked oil filler tube, AOS, etc., etc.) P0130 Oxygen Sensor Ahead of Catalytic Converter (Cylinders 1 - 3) - Intercore Short Circuit or Limited Voltage Increase - Oxygen sensor - Wiring harness - DME control module This sensor needs to be checked to see if it is cracked (ceramic) or if the wires are damaged.
  3. Mine is now 9 years old - cleaned counted times and looks like new. $117 sounds like a good deal too - I paid $120 nine years ago.
  4. Here you go (since you might also need the small parts)... 2004_tt_wheel_liners.pdf
  5. Did you read the FAQ I sent you to? I think not...
  6. 1. Please do not post titles in ALL CAPS - that is shouting on the internet and is is considered rude. 2. Go to the link that I have given you (several times) -- Lost Radio Code - post your request here. Click on the Add Reply button and type your request - click the Add Reply button at the bottom to submit your reply post.
  7. The "Approved Tires" list for each model is available in Porsche TSBs. All TSBs are are available here for viewing by our Contributing Members.
  8. PLEASE post this in the Lost Radio Code thread (this is the third time I have asked you). Please DO NOT PM me or email your radio code request - I will only answer them in that one thread.
  9. Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  10. The 4th stalk sits below the turn signal stalk (similar to the cruise control on the right side of the steering wheel). The 4th stalk controls the display for the OBC (On Board Computer) which gives you outside air temp, mileage info, speed gong, etc.. See your Owners Manual for details of what OBC function are in your model year car. This OBC hack (mod) process is a common add on for many owners. Step one is to have someone turn the OBC function on in your car (using a PST2 or PIWIS tester).
  11. Porsche has a couple of paint manuals but I do not have access to them. Check with your local dealer and see if they have these and if you could look at them. That would likely be a good place to start.
  12. IMHO - It is something you want to get addressed right away. Sometimes when an IMS seal lets loose it can dump all of your oil in a matter of seconds.
  13. There are no plastic rivets on the front bumper - there are plastic rivets on the wheel liners. 999.507.497.40 plastic rivet -- US MSRP $0.31 each
  14. Without the fault code(s) it is anybodies guess. You need to get eht fault codes read and report back here.
  15. Fault code 9115 Air-conditioning control module Possible cause of fault: - Open circuit of CAN-high Comfort - Open circuit of CAN-low Comfort - Air-conditioning control module faulty You are likely going to need someone with a PST2 or PIWIS for further diagnosis.
  16. In most cases it is fine to just top up the oil level. The RMS does not leak any oil when it is changed. The IMS does leak oil (since it is lower on the crankcase) when changed. If they change the IMS then they can catch the oil and reuse it.
  17. Have you tried a search here? I have posted the BOSE diagram several times.
  18. You need to do the buckles and the ground wires under the drivers seat. Theoretically the later buckles should be the gold plated ones - let us know how they work out.
  19. Depends... if your car has telephone prep (and most US cars did). Then it should be on the E-Handy connector under the passenger seat. Should be a Yellow wire with Black stripe (A4 of the handy connector).
