  1. :welcome: Please do a search here for P1125. This has been covered many many times.
  2. Under the dash to the left of the steering wheel (all Porsche's are the same).
  3. No Idle Control Valve on egas cars. It would not hurt to clean the throttle body but that is not likely the starting problem. What did you use to check the fault codes?
  4. The sensors are just wires - that when worn through trigger the light. So, if you want to bypass them you will need a wire jumper at each wheel -- or buy new sensors and tie-wrap them away from any moving parts.
  5. Check to make sure you don't have a pebble ot two caught between the brake disc and the splash shield.
  6. Get your fault codes read you could have pending codes. Have you checked your ignition switch?
  7. Yes, it sounds like the camshaft is out of timing.
  8. Um... I am not sure I remember. It may need a load for the high voltage.
  9. Um... DTC's not P-codes. DTC 12 = P0136, P0140, P0138 Oxygen Sensor After TWC, Bank 1 – Signal Implausible Oxygen Sensor After TWC, Bank 1 – Above Limit Oxygen Sensor After TWC, Bank 1 – Open Circuit Best check the wiring/O2 sensor for damage. DTC 322 = P1340 Timing Chain out of Position, Bank 1 – Below Lower Limit Timing Chain out of Position, Bank 1 – Above Upper Limit This fault can be stored only if the engine was disassembled and the allocation of the outlet camshaft with respect to the inlet camshaft was incorrectly set.
  10. Try 996.555.611.01.V01 That is the door handle in silver lacquer (V01 is the color code - which is required). Any good parts person should have caught that. Try the folks at Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost) - I'm sure they can find it and give you a better price.
  11. Where are you located? Perhaps another member can give you a hand.
  12. Have you replaced the spark plug and coil wires? Seems silly but my 76 S had a similar problem and I found that it would burn up the coil wire (inside). I would certainly check the resistance of each wire. Might not hurt to check the engine ground strap too. Strange things happen when their is poor chassis ground on these cars.
  13. Yes, the 0.5 inch has to go somewhere - either it gets pushed inside or outside.
  14. It is more likely a question of offset of the wheels and whether the wheels set 0.5 inches further inside (perhaps touching something) or 0.5 inches further outside.
  15. From the TT service manual: "It is impermissible to suck out the fuel through the filler neck, as this can damage the inner flap on the filler neck. Always suck out the fuel through the hole for the fuel level sensor."
  16. Porsche has only approved 21 wheels for MY07 and newer (Gen 2) Cayennes. For MY07 and newer they approve: 295/35R 21 107Y Continental Cross C. UHP N0 (Inside/Outside) Michelin Latitude Sport N0 (Inside/Outside) Pirelli P ZERO ROSSO N0 (Inside/Outside) Yokohama Advan Sport N0 (Inside/Outside)
  17. Try 4845 0r 4843 Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
