  2. Goo Gone will also remove wax - so after I use it I use a paint cleaner and then wax again.

  7. http://autorepair.about.com/library/images/bl255a-lib.htm Try it with a regular Phillips first - but don't strip it out if is very tight. I can only remember having to use an impact driver on one car and it had a lot od rust and a lot of years.
  8. :welcome: There was no C4S in MY1999 (C4S started in MY02) - so perhaps your car is a C4? What are your fault code(s)?
  9. A bad ignition switch could cause a battery drain - if the wrong parts are shorted and always on.

  11. I suggest you write down the fault codes before you reset them - in case the problem comes back. Most tools have a selection of "clear faults" or "reset faults".
  12. Thanks for the quick reply. I am not familiar with the CAN Bus? Is it something I can access and tap into? Where is it located? Some of the more sophisticated telemetry systems use the CAN bus - you can tap in at the cluster or the DME.
  13. What do you mean by exhaust? mufflers or cats? Changing the mufflers will not cause any faults or error messages. Changing the cats might.
  14. Did you get the tool for the shock/coil adjustment? If not got back to the shop and ask for it - it came with the coilovers.

  16. And my image from the parts list also show option XPA (IXPA). So, either the parts list is wrong or they gave you the wrong part.
