  1. P1130 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 2 – Above Limit or P1130 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 2 – Below Limit Potential causes: – Incorrect signal from MAF sensor – Fuel pressure too high – Fuel injector leaking – EVAP canister purge valve open Start with the MAF.
  2. I would not use the GT3 specs unless you put coilovers on the car. Did you change the suspension components when you did your conversion?
  3. The engine code is not the engine serial number. If you can get the engine serial number I can likely look up the engine info (model year would help trace it down faster too).
  4. That is not an engine code - looks like part of a part number. A 930 engine code looks like 930.60 (which is a 3.3 liter 1981 engine).
  5. That is just a black 3 spoke steering wheel.
  6. Loren: Where can I get Techtron and how much to put in the tank, also what gas dryer you recommend? Although I live in Miami think that the change in temperature, very high humidity here, and in what we floridians consider winter my cause a bit of water in the tank. I have a similar problem with MY99 Coupe, C2, 6 speed standard. Won't show 100% full, after filling up it shows about 1/16 short of 4/4, then the gauge drops very fast during the 1st 30 miles after fillup, stays in 1/2 tank for a long while. I'm getting aprox 220 miles per full tank in the city. Have never let it shows low gas alarm. You can get Techron at Costco, Walmart, or many auto parts houses. And, of course you can buy it at Chevron gas stations.
  7. :welcome: Do you have the exact fault code number?
  8. I have the ".04" part only and was wondering what year Boxster it is for. MY1997
  9. Looks real good - and they cover more than the stock ones.
  10. Yes, there are two kinds - that is why I asked. The white says 8.0 x 0.9 and the grey does not say. 999.507.505.40 clip grey -- US MSRP $0.19 each 999.507.582.40 clip white -- US MSRP $0.19 each
  11. 996.347.011.05 was replaced by 996.347.011.06 which was replaced by 996.347.011.07. If you have 996.347.011.05 in your car you may need other parts to upgrade to the latest version (996.347.011.07).
  12. Grey or White?
  13. Some folks have used dental floss to "saw" the old adhesive - then clean up with the 3M adhesive remover. Sometimes if it is cold a hairdryer/heat gun can help too. I know... too late now.
  14. Known? So far we have heard about it on 3 cars - so like I said make sure where it is coming from.
  15. The interlock switch must be aligned so that, with the clutch pedal depressed, it is operated approx. 1 to max. 2 mm before the limit stop of the clutch slave cylinder is reached.
  16. Make sure it is not the pan gasket - that one is easy enough to change. If it is leaking from the two seals in the pic - then Porsche's answer is to "replace the transmission". Problem is they don't (or won't) sell those gaskets. Folks have done some further investigation. The Tiptronic is made by Mercedes for Porsche but the Mercedes parts won't work because Porsche's casting is different. Your best bet (if that is the leaking point) is to find a good transmission shop that can make the gaskets.
  17. I hope it is not these two seals...
  18. :welcome: Please do a search for P1124 P1126 - this topic has been covered many many times here.
  19. Did you ever find out any info about "our" amp? Is it the amp? thx According to the Porsche parts list the M490 amp (ASK) has not changed since 2005. So they should all be the same. The BOSE amp has changed.
  20. Most of the times it is the tires that cause "tracking". Some are better than others.
