  1. Your keys are programmed to your alarm/drive block controller. If you change the DME you will need your cars original IPAS codes to recode the new DME.
  2. :welcome: I agree with atomichead - for that price everything on your list should fixed and the warranty transferred to you (on the repaired items).
  3. I think I will leave this thread so other folks can see RFM's comments about reprogramming the rear wiper (if you have one ;) ) I certainly learned something I did not know.
  4. Check fuse D5. (Fourth row from the top - fifth fuse from the left).
  5. This is a Boxster - the Carrera is almost identical. This is a lot of work.
  6. WKD 951 520 05 CDR-24 Operating Instructions -- US MSRP $21.48. Not very expensive for Porsche parts.
  7. The latest part is the 997 series part. You want 997.116.237.01 clutch slave cylinder -- US MSRP $141.37 If your pedal is very heavy then chances are you need a new clutch.
  8. Should be a fairly easy fix - tell them to make sure they get all the broken pieces out. They will need to flush the complete system to do that.
  9. Extended warranty will not (usually) cover normal wear items like hoses and belts.
  10. Switch is about $30 and regulator is about $215 (MSRP).
  11. Please do a search for P1128 - there are literally dozens of these discussions.
  12. It is either the door handle switch or the regulator.
  13. I think Paul mistakenly gave you the 996 Tip knob removal. The procedure for the 997 is different and can be at the link below. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...st&p=108867
  14. VarioCam Plus is quite different As a Contributing Member you can read the 4 page write up in the MY2002 Technical Information Book. Loren: How is the MY2002 Technical Information Book accessed? Regards, Maurice. Go to Downloads > Contributing Members Only > Service Information Books
  15. Photos courtesy John D II (on Rennlist) In a few cases the mounting bracket has broken.
  16. Item 5 is the part number you asked about. Here are all of the under body parts.
  17. These codes usually work on Becker CR(D) 210 and 220 - not sure on other Becker models. Try 5209 or 5207
  18. Just have checked with a PIWIS next you are at the dealer. Could need just a re-synch of the CAN modules.
  19. You should look at the O2 sensor and graph the voltages. Could be worn out (aged) after-cat sensors. Usually you see a bad or bad sensor on one side - not both at the same time. All the more reason to see what the O2 sensors are doing.
  20. Yes, they changed it. Now 997.101.212.01 only shows as valid for MY09- Carrera and Gen 2 V8 Cayennes.
  21. See if the CAN fault comes back - could be someone disconnected something during service then reconnected and forgot to clear the fault.
  22. Try 4447 or 4445 The radio says it should be a 5 digit number Try 14447
