  1. My information comes from the Porsche TSB 18/04 4440 Summer Wheels, Tires, and Spacers (C4S) -- dated May 29, 2008. Ask your dealer for it or become a Contributing Member here and read it for yourself.
  2. Item 5 is a catch (so I don't think that is it). Item 13 is a self tapping screw (probably not that either). How about item 8? Plastic nut T5/40 x 80
  3. That seems pretty trashed. Do you have the key number? Look in your maintenance book or your option tag under the front hood. If not just stop at a dealer and have them try locking key sockets until they find the right one (about . The they can order a key socket for you.
  4. I sent you a PM also.
  5. :welcome: C4S is a widebody Carrera (not to be confused with the narrow body C4) and the factory default sizes are 225/40 x 18 front and 295/30 x 18 rears.
  6. I sent you a PM with the written instructions.
  7. I don't have a Boxster to look at so if you can tell which item(s) - I get you the part number(s).
  8. Please keep your posts Porsche related - thanks.
  9. Because there seemed to be enough advertising there. -- There was no discussion that I saw.
  10. By becoming a Contributing Member - and you have done that now. :D
  11. Ywo beeps means there is a problem )more than an open zone - which one beep) with the alarm system. You will need the Durametric software, a PST2 or PIWIS tester to diagnose it further.
  12. "Remove rear bumper cover: 4 phillips on top, 2 phillips on bottom, 4 torx on bottom, 2 torx in the wheel well. Its easy to scratch when removed. Slide off with a helper so you don't scratch the paint. Unplug the wires."
  13. I stand corrected - airbag yes - front hood no.
  14. Item 5 has a different part number for a 6-speed and a Tiptronic - but the same diagram is used for both. 6-speed is: 996.504.029.00 Tiptronic is: 996.504.029.01 MY05 Tiptronic Turbo S is: 996.504.029.03 Most illustrations is the parts program have all options and you have to look at the parts listing to match the parts with your car. That is why parts department people ask for your VIN - if you enter the VIN the parts lists highlights the exact parts for that VIN.
  15. Automobile custom interior shops. I am sure there are a few near any major city.
  16. Porsche has never produced a silver crest on any production Porsche. Any silver crests are aftermarket.
  17. Please read this and follow the instructions... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  18. Underbody coverings for 996TT.
  19. I should add that I think a good upholstery shop should be able to fix that problem without removing the dash.
  20. Maybe time to clean the front radiators. PSE should not change it's tone if no wires are connected - because the mechanical valves are always open when there is no electronic control.
  21. A good dealer will give you all your codes with proof of ownership.
