  1. P0430 45 TWC Conversion, Bank 2 – Above Limit Possible causes: – Catalytic converter If an aging oxygen sensor is recorded in conjunction with a fault in the TWC, a check must be performed with a new oxygen sensor to see whether a TWC fault is still indicated. Make sure you do not have other faults.
  2. Here is what I have for MY09 PCM3 on a Cayenne.
  3. If you are looking for manuals PM member Porschelibrarian.
  4. The part comes out - so it is open if you have a 3rd radiator and closed if you don't.
  5. Sometimes the internal button press area on the PCB wear out. Sometimes they just get intermittent. You can try opening it and investigating and/or re-programming it with a PST2 or PIWIS tester - but if tose don't work then you will need a new key (and programming).
  6. Isn't there a hex nut on the top of the new filter? Just put a wrench/socket on that.
  7. Yes, they are. You can always verify them against the TSB for Summer Wheels. Tires and Spacers. Not the best tires but I suspect a suspension change would give you the handling you want.
  8. Yes, depending on the wheels they all should have part numbers on the inside of the wheels. Also the offset and size should be near the valve stem on some wheels.
  9. Try 0563 or 0561 Neither one worked. Any other choices? I assume I just have to type them in when it prompts me? Thanks Howard Please read this and follow the instructions... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  10. that wont work for a 2009 997! the oil filter is much larger and has a hex mold on it like seen on bmw's This the 996 series cars section.
  11. Test with the engine/coolant warm. Do not take the cap off with the engine running - you will have coolant everywhere. Test with the engine stopped.
  12. I was talking about measuring the coolants effective antifreeze/cooling properties.
  13. Loren, do you have to take off the valve cover to get to that piece? No, just the heat shield. (photo courtesy John D II on Rennlist)
  14. :welcome: P0171 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 1 – Above Limit P0174 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 2 – Above Limit Possible fault cause - Incorrect signal from MAF sensor - Intake air system leaking - Fuel pressure too low - Volume supply of fuel pump too low - Fuel injectors fouled - PCV valve leaks - Cap of oil filler neck not closed correctly or seal is damaged
  15. I would double check the wheel widths and offsets. I've seen 996's with incorrect Boxster size wheels and tires. This makes for a very "twitchy" car. If the tires and wheels are correct it may be a worn suspension. Most folks find that the RoW M030 (sport suspension) makes the car handle a lot better.
  16. Well, I would look for any damage since it was loose. If no damage then just tighten it down. Odd that it came loose - any work done by a shop? Almost makes me think someone removed it to do work and forgot to tighten it back down when they reconnected it.
  17. You can test the coolant with a commercial tester - just few dollars at your local auto parts store. As long as the coolant is watery (not thick) and has no oil in it - and it's ok then it is very likely ok to run it as is.
  18. You should verify if someone just mixed the wrong coolant in with the factory fill or if there is actually oil in the coolant. Yes, oil in the coolant is a bad sign.
  19. Loren do you have the part number for the new filter wrench or know the size hex needed to remove the filter. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...entry1823 Current dealer MSRP is: $35.68
  20. :welcome: Please do a search here = this has been covered many many times.
  21. Those should be M10 bolts - 60 ftlbs.
  22. Try 4461 or 4459 did not work any others? oh and I have another problem, the radio only works when key is in the acc position. It never works when car is running, this started about 2 yrs ago when it would turn off when driving. the fuse is good what other things should i check? Didn't read the whole FAQ - did you? Please read this and follow the instructions... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST If you are having other strange electrical problems - that relate to the ignition switch position. Then you very likely have a bad ignition switch also.
  23. That will depend on your model and model year. See the table at the end of the DIY.
  24. Yes, I bought mine from a Porsche dealer.
