  1. I have what looks to be a leak from the coolant tank area. Any suggestions as to the best way to DIY? Replacing the Coolant Reservoir
  2. If you would have done a search here (as perryinva suggested) you would have seen that a blown fuse is the most common cause of this. Sorry, you had to learn the hard way - a friendlier dealer/OPC might have done it for free.
  3. :welcome: Please give our Search a try next time... Home Curb-Rash Repair
  4. Check for a loose bolt where the wiper attaches to the drive mechanism.
  5. For what model and year car? You posted in the Cayenne section.
  6. :welcome: 63 ftlb.
  7. Sounds like a bad ignition switch.
  8. Yes, just jumper the two wire from the switch (essentially bypassing the switch). Realize that this will let you start the car without engaging the clutch - so make sure you are in neutral.
  9. Yes, even 5 mm spacers get new longer bolts.
  10. Try 7232 or 7230 If you have not already read this please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  11. Sorry, but I disagree. You see more 6 speeds with RMS failures because there are more 6 speeds than Tips.
  12. Try 4760 or 4758 If you have not already read this please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST

  14. Did you check the clutch interlock switch?
  15. Please don't PM Moderators or Admins unless it is a last resort - others will never see the reply and advice. One of the goals of the forum is to "share knowledge" ;) Thanks!

  17. Then I think your OPC owes you an explanation - and a free repair.
  18. So, it was running fine before the major service?
  19. Running the exhaust in bypass or normal position has no affect on the engine performance (it is only noise).
  20. 1. Get your battery load tested. Most batteries only last 4 years - so if that is the original you should replace it. 2. Once the battery is know to be good measure the voltage at the battery with the engine running - it should be around 13-14 volts.
  21. :welcome: Usually when that valve goes bad it leaks - causing the unstable idle. Probably best to just replace it.
  22. Look for air leaks. Hose not on or not tight. For $900 they should fix it right. A PST2 or PIWIS will tell whether the MAF is working properly.
  23. P0172 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 1 – Below Limit Possible fault cause - Incorrect signal from MAF sensor - Fuel pressure too high - Fuel injector leaking - EVAP canister purge valve open P0175 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 2 – Below Limit Possible fault cause - Incorrect signal from MAF sensor - Fuel pressure too high - Fuel injector leaking - EVAP canister purge valve open Since you have the same fault on both engine banks it is likely that the problem is the MAF. Are you sure you got the correct part? Also look for loose fittings (air leaks) at the air intake.
