  1. What is the part number?
  2. Silicone spray only. Thanks Loren! When is time to change my clutch, what do you recommend for daily driving and occasional DE track?. Usually when the clutch wears out the pedal will get very hard. My last Porsche had 135,000 miles including lots of track time - and it still did not need a clutch.
  3. Try 4767 or 4765 If you have not already read this please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  4. :welcome: All TSBs are available here to Contributing Members as soon as they are available to us. Porsche updates this list every year at this - and there are rarely many changes. How to become a Contributing Member
  5. I would start by getting the battery load tested. Also, if the battery is 4 years old (or older) it is time to replace it anyway.
  6. We are not a business - but we do highly recommend Sunset Imports. You can find them near the top center of any page under Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost. Be sure to tell them that RennTech.org sent you.
  7. :welcome: Item 5 - 955.505.513.00 Left spoiler -- US MSRP $20.90 Item 6 - There is also a backup strip reinforcement 955.505.819.00.GRV Left reinforcement strip prime coated-- US MSRP $8.39 and (item 7) N.907.676.02 Screw (as needed) -- US MSRP $0.38 each
  8. Correct - as long as they are steel brakes and not ceramic (PCCB).
  9. :welcome: If the RMS has been replaced 3 times then either there have been bad installs or the dealer has not properly measured the case specs. if the case specs are off Porsche should replace the engine - if the dealer does not know how to properly replace the RMS then they either need to go back to training or you need to find a new dealer.
  10. If your MY99 Carrera already had PCM then it would not be a big deal. If it does not, then you are looking at a major job of wiring (and cost) for the new system. If this is your case I would suggest a 3rd party navigation system. Many have been discussed and implemented here - please do a search.
  11. Try 4282 or 4280 If you have not already read this please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  12. Most exhaust rattles are either heat shields, loose connections or a broken weld in one of the mufflers.
  13. You will need someone with a PST2 or PIWIS tester to run Tiptronic diagnostics on your car.
  14. Try 9145 or 9143 If you have not already read this please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  15. Are the motor mounts oil filled? if so what kind of damage will I do if I continue to drive the car for a while? Is this a reasonably easy DIY? Lastly, If not an easy fix, what is typical cost of repair at dealership? Thanks in adavance. Have a look here
  16. A PST2 cable will not work. Durametric is USB and PST2 is a custom serial interface.
  17. Check your motor mounts.
  18. $49.82 here Loren go ahead order yourself a pair, and after you crush your subframe post your pictures!!! I just mentioned the lower price. I see no reason to insult me - or anyone else here.
  19. Not off the top of head but it would not surprise me if some one makes one. Realize you will also need to change the rear bumper cover.
  20. I think RFM's point is that the 997-2 still has only two radiators.
  21. Most common issues are wrong spark plugs, bad coils, and loose intercooler hoses.
