  1. As stated here elsewhere most folks find the Wurth silver followed by Wurth clear coat to be a perfect match.
  2. Perhaps you have a problem with an airbag circuit. It would be best to have someone with a PIWIS tester check it out.
  3. You could also re-program the DME to use the RoW program (which ignores the 2nd O2 sensors). Of course, you would not pass any US smog tests. Loren i want to re-program my DME with ROW to get rid off the 2nd sensor p0139 code, but the dealer say it's not possibile(as far as i figured, he simplly don't know how to do it) please advice It maybe illegal in your country - which maybe why a dealer won't do it. You are likely going around your countries emissions laws. It is all about choosing the DME program. Depending on your model year there are usually 2 to 5 programs to choose from.
  4. Try 8922 or 8920 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  5. Try 5574 or 5572 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  6. Just to verify - you want item 6? If so, 996.555.365.90 -- US MSRP $18.10 each I double checked and they do not mention the color for MY99.
  7. Looks like the Mk1 GT3 only came in black and the GT2 was not in production until 2001. Graphite Grey was only used for MY98 and 99.
  8. Good advice Just a small correction on tire dates. The "last 4 digits" of date are tire manufacture date. The first 2 digits are "PRODUCTION WEEK" and the last 2 digits are the "YEAR". So, 5000 means 50th week of year 2000, which means December 2000.
  9. Does the button on the key fob work? What about the manual locking key? (drivers side)
  10. Model year and color of interior please?
  11. I think GT3 Mk1 parts should work (not sold in the US or Canada) or GT2 parts should work. Neither had rear seats.
  12. Just to add the bolts are Torx External size 12 (E12). Also, make sure the key is NOT in the igintion at any time during the seat removal or you will trigger an air bag light.
  13. The MAF measures air flow over the surface - so if there is anything on the surface it will affect the air flow. Either buy the correct stuff or use clean/new lacquer thinner.
  14. Relay position 10. That would be second row from the top 5th relay from the left. It is not at all uncommon for both horns to go bad.
  15. What I posted is what I have. Realize on the newer cars the lights are all run by "control boxes".
  16. That is not MAF sensor cleaner. This is what you need.
  17. Try 9059 or 9057 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  18. Try 1206 or 1204 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  19. :welcome: Only narrow body Tips get a 3rd radiator. On C4S (widebody) you already have larger radiators.
  20. Try 8290 or 8288 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  21. I couldn´t find the 3 digit number, and <I don´t have a Porsche dealer nearby. One tire shop lost the key, although they deny it. How can I take the security keys away? I suppose I have to break them, but how? regards Kare Most tire shops know how to safely cut them off. Don't forget you will need four standard wheel bolts to replace them.
  22. There is a TSB on this TSB 7/04 9662 Insufficient Range of Remote Control -- dated Aug 13, 2004. All TSBs are available to Contributing Members.
  23. Email or call Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost).
  24. Check the pouch in the front trunk near the spare tire - look for the key and/or the plastic bag with the number on it (it will be a 3 digit number). In a few rare cases a tech has hand written the key number on the option tag under the front hood. If still no luck, then go to a dealer and ask them to try their keys until they find the right one. Once you have the number it is easy to order.
