  1. We have the latest TSBs here. When it says Superseded that means the one listed superseded a previous TSB.
  2. We have added and/or updated February 2009 TSBs in the following categories (9 TSBs total): 987-1 = 1 987-2 = 2 Cayenne = 1 Cayenne gen 2 = 3 Cayman-2 = 2 Of significant note is an oil capacity change for the MY08 an MY09 Cayenne V8 engines. Dealers/OPCs are to update Owner's Manuals with a supplementary sheet that has the following changes:
  3. Read the fault code(s) and write them down. Yes, the Durametric software can reset the air bag light.
  4. Where you are pointing to could be a leak in the windshield washer tank and/or headlight washers (if you have them). Both tanks are located there behind the wheel well liner (high in the fender).
  5. :welcome: If you can not find one on eBay you can still special order a one. The current Porsche parts/price list shows: WKD 911 020 86 Owners Manual (English) -- US MSRP $46.48
  6. You do not need to replace any coil packs that are not cracked or pass the resistance test. A good coil should read: Resistance between terminal 1 and terminal 15 at 20°C: 0.3 - 0.7 ohms Obviously a higher (or lower) resistance is a bad coil. The (current) correct coil pack for your car is: 997.602.107.00
  7. Your misfires are only on cylinders 1 and 4. I would line up the TB arrows anyway but check the coil packs and plug connections.
  8. Try 7001 or 6999 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  9. P0030 H02S Heater Control Circuit Possible cause of fault - Open circuit P0134 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected Possible cause of fault - Short circuit in oxygen sensor wiring - Oxygen sensor faulty (heater coupling or heating) - DME control module faulty You could erase the faults and see if they come back.
  10. From the service manual it looks like - "initial tightening 37 ftlb." then final tightening "an additional 90 degree turn."
  11. Try 4715 or 4713 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  12. Very unusual - good troubleshooting!
  13. Try 1030 or 1028 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST

Then you need to protect hem because anyone in possession of those codes could program a key and steal your car.
  17. Maybe an OPC parts guy can request those part numbers from Porsche - they do not show on the Porsche parts list (only the complete kit shows).

  19. I would wait for the power bleeder and try again. Could be a clog or debris in the (booster) block where the reservoir connects.
  20. Most likely a seat belt buckle. See the TSB on this. You will need the Durametric Software, a PST2 or PIWIS tester to read the fault code(s) and rest the airbag light (once the fault is corrected).

  22. Get a Motive power bleeder - a very worthwhile investment (IMHO). Pumping the brake pedal still allows for air to be sucked back into the system.
  23. Oil change for 997TT is pretty much the same as 996TT. The DIY is here.
  24. The US/Canada standard suspension is pretty high. You will see some float at 100 plus MPH. Either a US sport or Row sport suspension will improve the handling dramatically with a small ride height reduction and slightly stiffer springs. Sorry, but you will need to replace much more than the swaybars.
