  1. MY02 was PSM not TC. If you have PSM you should have option M476.
  2. The problem has been reported to the author - he is working on an update.
  3. Fault codes 04, 05, 20, 21, 36 Ignition circuit, driver 1. Remove driver's airbag unit. 2. Attach the special tool 9516 instead of the airbag unit. 3. Clear the fault memory. 4. Check whether the fault appears again. a If the fault does not appear again, replace the airbag unit. b If the fault appears again, disconnect plug connection to the contact unit and attach special tool 9516/1. 5. Clear the fault memory. 6. Check whether the fault appears again. a If the fault does not appear again, replace the contact unit. b If the fault appears again, check the wiring harness for pinches and chafing damage. c If no fault is found on the wiring harness, replace the triggering unit. Proceed as described below to determine whether the fault was eliminated: 1. Clear the fault memory. 2. Switch oft ignition. 3. Remove ignition key. 4. Switch on ignition. You may need to borrow the airbag tool (a special resister in box with the correct connector - I think) or find a shop that has one.
  4. (too late) Please read this and follow the instructions... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST I will only respond to lost radio requests in the thread linked in the FAQ - so read the FAQ. This topic is closed.
  5. Wire colors are not unique to specific functions (in 99.9 % of the cases) - so do not bet on that specific wire. Find switch with illumination and tell me the wire colors and I will look them up - but I can't look up all the grey/red wires in the car.
  6. Try 8644 or 8642 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  7. Try 4820 or 4818 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  8. I think it is: 00072195885 TESTER WIRING CABLE -- US MSRP $259.30
  9. It's a cable. Start with the cable - pull on it and if it is broken then you can pull it easily.
  10. The side skirts differ for Aerokit Cup - MY99-01 and Aerokit II - MY02-04 AND Coupes and Cabs are slightly different. So one size does not fit all. Some what model and what year car do you have?
  11. It says someone did it does not say it is recommended. There is a motor on the sunroof switch and you going to put a sensitive device like a radar detector on that same power line. Sorry, but I think that is asking for trouble - use the interior light or the telephone prep connector.
  12. Do a search here - for radar installs - the sunroof switch is NOT recommended.
  13. If you are using compatible DOT 4 brake fluid then there is no need to bleed the ABS pump - there is very little in there to begin with. If you are changing out a ABS valve or pump or switching to a synthetic brake fluid I think it would be a good idea.
  14. Well done! The only thing you might add is the air temperature sensor that is mounted in the bumper grill on Carrera's and some Boxsters. Just snap it out of the grill. Then when you remove the air duct you can push the rubber grommet through the air duct and just let it hang while you work.
  15. Do you know what the spec readings are for the MAF? George Model and year of your car?
  16. Model and year please? and what are you looking for? power (+12 volts)?
  17. Loren, Is there a readily available point (like under the left seat) for the illumination wire hookup? If I opt not to hookup the rear camera in an install, I could feed the reverse wire from the seat which is much easier than trying to get to the wire bundle under the right rear panel in the back of the car. I have a 997 (2005) BTW, and I believe that the illumination wire (at least in the back of the car) is Gray/Red. Can you confirm any more "convenient" location to tap into? Thanks, Bryan Most folks tap into one of the existing switches or the old radio connection.
  18. You could on the 996 but I don't think so on the 997-1. But in the 996 they were bulbs and in the 997-1 they are LEDs Check your owners manual - if you can it is there in the bulb replacement section.
  19. You will need to wait for the appropriate number of drive cycles or turn the CEL off with a scan tool.
  20. MSRP - Manufacturers Suggested List Price I can only (see and) quote MSRP. Dealers cost plus 15% are Sunset Imports prices.
