  1. Please read this and follow the instructions... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST I will ONLY answer radio code requests in that one thread linked at the end of the FAQ. This topic is now closed.
  2. :welcome: Please do a search coolant has been covered many many many times here. You can check to see if your coolant light is functioning by just turning the key to the on position - all the warning lights should light up.
  3. Without seeing the MAF air flow readings at idle and 2500 RPM - you do not know that it is good. Perhaps the other bank just hasn't faulted yet.
  4. Try 6616 or 6614 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  5. I am very, very disappointed with this. I bought my Durametric cable and software about two years ago, supposedly the software upgrade would be free, and now my cable isn't compatible with their software. So people like me have to buy a new cable to get long awaited features like brake bleeding? From a hardware interface and software points of view, I don't get why the old cable could communicate with most of the modules, if not all, but now the software "needs" a new hardware interface. Or how to make $150 from older customers. Sorry, but this is a rip off. Have you tried sending them an email?
  6. P1126 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Lower Load Range, Bank 1 – Above Limit Possible causes: – Incorrect signal from MAF sensor – Intake air system leaking – Fuel pressure too low – Volume supply of fuel pump too low – Fuel injectors fouled Look for leaks and try cleaning and/or replacing your MAF.
  7. Please doa search for P1126 - this has been covered many many times.
  8. Try 0493 or 0491 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  9. We have had reports that using contact cleaner on the MAF can cause problems. A couple folks here here tried it and ended up buying the MAF cleaner to "clean the contact cleaner" off the MAF.
  10. "Other models will be added over the next 6-8 weeks."
  11. Is this tool the same for the 2009/2010 GTS motor? Yes.
  12. Durametric Owners can download this update for free (make sure you have the newer style cable before installing). Partial list of New Features: "First release of Durametric 6.0 * Coverage for 997, Boxster (987), Cayman only. Other models will be added over the next 6-8 weeks. * 100% new code! Durametric 6.0 shares no code with Durametric 5. * Added coverage for many new control modules. We now cover every module possible in the 9x7 cars. * Automatic vehicle recognition! On 9x7 cars, the software will automatically detect vehicle type and the modules that are installed. * New short test allows scanning all modules for faults and see all faults on one screen. * Quick erase allows faults to be cleared from all modules in one operation. * Support for non-critical faults. In some cases a module may have fault codes that do not require action. These faults will be indicated with a yellow icon. * Support for activations in most modules. * Support for actual values in most modules. * Support for 2009 DFI cars' Siemens SDI3 ECU. * Support for PDK transmissions. * System / Short tests on engine modules. * Freeze frame information on engine modules. * Coding on many modules (professional version only), some examples of things that can be coded are: o Added or removing control modules from the car. For example, disabling TPM, or PASM. o Recoding of airbag to allow racing seats to be installed and not trigger an airbag light. o Activating day time running lights. o Adjusting the behavior of each key. o And much more... * 997 Convertible top calibration. * Brake bleeding. * Improved installation process. * Automatic software updates. * Improved work log. * Command console (professional version only). Provides direct communication with the control module for advanced users. * Workshop information. 13. Folks the intermediate shaft on the Turbo and GT3 engines is completely different than the intermediate shaft on the 9x6 series and 9x7 series Boxster, Carrera, and Caymans. Remember Turbo/GT3 is a different engine.
  14. With the proper tools not very long. I can do it in 1 hour (or less).
  15. 996.731.038.03 Right convex mirror -- US MSRP $47.96 Check with the folks at Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost) for better pricing.
  16. Depending on your driving style - 20,000 to 150,000 miles. I have never had to replace the clutch in any of my Porsche's which includes track events and autocross uses.
  17. 3.4 liter or 3.6 liter engine in your car? Do not put 3.4 liter mufflers on a 3.6 - but other than that any of those options will work.
  18. Excellent photos - thanks for adding them!
  19. Engine/emissions - yes. But, if the problem that caused the fault to occur is not fixed then the CEL (and fault) will come back.
  20. Egas throttle body (before we cleaned it)
  21. Try 0989 or 0987 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  22. Pin 1 is the air temperature sensor signal. The air flow signal is on pin 3. You will the Durametric software, a PST2 or PIWIS tester to read the actual air flow across the MAF (to determine if it is working). Readings are in Air mass ML in kg/h Idle - 12 -24 at 2500 RPM (no load) - 40-70 If you don't get these readings (or close to them) then the MAF is likely bad.
  23. I think your best source of switched power is the telephone prep connector (Green/Black wire is switched +12 volts) behind the front console. Just route a wire into the trunk through the opening in the firewall.
  24. All of the accessory plugs are unswitched power I am afraid. Try looking for the telephone prep wires under the passenger seat. Depending on which telephone prep option you have it will be either Red/Black or Black/Yellow. Brown is ground. These are switched power. Should be easy enough to test with a volt meter. Terminal 15 is switched +12 volts Terminal 31 is ground Terminal 30 is unswitched +12 volts
  25. Try 0412 or 0410 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
