  1. Front will work ok - the rears are too tall. You need a 30 series in the rear.
  2. How old is the battery? Have you load tested the battery and checked the specific gravity?
  3. Procedure 1. Mark the position of the interior mirror. Mark the position of the bonding plate on the outside of the windscreen. Dimension A = 633 mm Dimension B = 100 mm Remove adhesive residues Remove adhesive residues from the windscreen mechanically using a scraper. Remove adhesive residues on the bonding plate of the interior mirror mechanically using a scraper. 2. Sand the bonding plate of the interior mirror flat. Clean the bonding plate of the interior mirror. Clean the bonding area on the windscreen. Sand the bonding plate of the interior mirror flat mechanically using 100 grain sandpaper. Clean the bonding plate of the interior mirror with cleaning solution A. Clean the bonding area on the windscreen with cleaning solution A. 3. Mask the bonding area on the windscreen. Mask the bonding area on the windscreen with primer template (cover film C). The marking for the position of the interior mirror must be visible in the center of the primer template. 4. Prime the bonding area on the windscreen. Treat the masked bonding area on the windscreen thinly and evenly using primer B. 5. Activate the bonding area on the windscreen. Remove the primer template. Spray activator D onto the bonding area of the windscreen. 6. Apply adhesive to the bonding plate. Apply a drop of adhesive E to the bonding plate of the interior mirror. 7. Stick on the interior mirror. Press the interior mirror with the bonding plate onto the primed and activated area of the windscreen.
  4. US cars have required water based paints for a number of years now. So choose 6B4.

  9. Time out here - the car should NOT be driven with a flashing CEL. A flashing CEL means that damage may be done to the catalytic converters. At almost $1500 each (and there are two of them) I don't think you want to risk damaging them.

  17. :welcome: 63J would signify an RoW 1988 3.2 liter 231 HP engine that was used in the 1988 RoW 911 S.
  18. :welcome: Yes, Porsche published a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) that describes how to install it. All TSBs are available here to our Contributing Members to view online.
  19. Current draw with the car off should be around 60 ma. If it is much more then you likely have a drain somewhere.
  20. If they are the same size then there is likely little difference other than the mounting and adjustment.
  21. If the other nuts are tight it should not rattle - perhaps a little Loctite.
  22. No they were designed for the early 3.4 liter engines that actually had some bolts that protruded down. Folks would catch them on a curb or something and then rip a hole in the case. The later engines fixed that problem and unless you go "offroad" or back into curbs most folks don't need the plates (IMHO of course).
