  1. Try 8835 or 8833 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  2. Please read this and follow the instructions... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST I will only answer lost radio codes in the thread linked at the end of the FAQ. This topic is now closed.
  3. If you have been gone longer than 5 days chances are the alarm has shut down remote operations to save power. Try locking and unlock the car with the mechanical key a couple of times and then see if the remote works again.
  4. Try 4697 or 4695 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST

  6. Is the o-ring on the distributor shaft missing?
  7. Try 4753 or 4751 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  8. :welcome: If you mean a narrow body Carrera - the answer is no. Turbo, GT2 and C4S share the same suspension and brakes - they are know as widebody cars (because of the wide rear fenders). Carrera's and GT3 are narrow body cars.
  9. Did the spoiler light work correctly before you removed the rear lid? If so then you need to check the spoiler harness and make sure it is not disconnected, crimped or has corroded pins.
  10. The Bosch wipers fit fine for me.
  11. I sent you a PM with some information.
  12. The only comments I can find state that the Mk2 sensors have a new shape and changed locking mechanism. SO, they might not attach to your bumper without work.
  13. Sorry - reverse sensors? What are you trying to do?
  14. :welcome: Do a search here as engine swaps have been covered in number of threads. Particularly look for thread from tholyoak (Todd) as he has done several swaps and know what you will run into.
  15. :welcome: Yes, the Tiptronic car is heavier so the springs are stiffer. I would be afraid the 6 speed springs might allow the rear of the car to sag - perhaps not at first but later. Porsche would not have made two different part numbers for different springs if they didn't need to. I personally would not put 6 speed springs on a Tip.
  16. Check the swaybars to see if the mounts are loose. I have seen this happen several times.
  17. Horn or airbag connector?
  18. Try 9197 or 9195 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  19. Sorry, there is only the breakdown of lines, injectors and fuel rails. Besides you have a hybrid - the 3.6 liter engine uses a returnless fuel injection system. Your 3.4 liter had a return line - so perhaps when they did the conversion they left a line open or the plug came out. I would check for leaks around the fuel rails and slowly work my way towards the front of the car following the fuel lines. I have seen a couple of folks that managed to smash both fuel and clutch lines driving over a curb - so it might be wise to pout the car up on a rack and remove the underside panels so you can inspect all the lines for damage.
  20. Both driver and passenger are 22 inches.
  21. I drive a 10 year old early model 996. :drive:
  22. The diagnotic tools report no fault codes. Thats why mechanic is resorting to tuning issues but cannot find any. I am taking to Porsche Melbourne (aurthorsied Porsche dealers) Tuesday, I just want the stupid thing fixed. Do you mind if I ask what tool he used to check the car?
