  1. Ben - please do not do that. This topic is about a members concern over IMS issues.
  2. Please do not ask people to make illegal copies here. Please re-read the board Guidelines/Rules if you are unclear. This topic is closed.
  3. Red calipers would be steel brakes. Yellow calipers would be PCCB brakes.
  4. See Tom Morris' excellent DIY here.
  5. I suggest you remove the belt and see if any pulleys wobble when spun. Even an idler pulley can do major damage if it breaks while running.
  6. I'm a little confused -- so If I just plug in the lights as they are -- they will work just fine -- just no auto adjust? If that is the case it is literally a one for one swap with no rewiring? thanks, Mike Yes, if you just plug the Litronics in they will work as geoff said. That is, you will not get the low beam Xenon to rotate up with the Halogen high beams for a combined high beam without adding the control module for each headlight. This is fairly simple wiring and covered completely in the Retrofit TSB. What you can not get with non-factory Litronics is the automatic beam adjustment for hills. This is a factory only option that requires sensors at the front and rear of the car and the wiring between them (which you won't hav without the factory option).
  7. 8.98 US quarts of oil. Unless you vacuum fill the coolant system you will likely have to add coolant for the next week. Check it daily as it bleeds the air out of the system.

  11. That document is Porsche's spec so to protect your warranty you need to do things at or before the scheduled maintenance. I personally do things early because I drive my car very hard. So it is up to you.
  12. Most likely tires and/or wheel balance. Start with a balance and alignment check.
  13. I think you will need to completely remove each cable from the handbrake inside and pull it through the guide. Seems not a very common problem.
  14. Try 8800 or 8798 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST

  18. I do not know of a way to swap the "electronic" odometers. You would need to ask someone like like Palo Alto Speedometer.
  19. Try 0553 or 0551 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST

  22. Should there be one? What country is your car manufactured for? That will determine the sensors and DME programming.
  23. 955.645.301.06 Booster -- US MSRP $1024.83 RoW = Rest of the World (Porsche's term not mine)
  24. Did you turn the tensioning roller clockwise - to relieve the tension?
