  1. Try 4600 or 4598 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  2. :welcome: Did you disconnect the battery? If so, you will need to let the car "learn" idle and throttle response again. This usually occurs within a few miles. If not, then I suggest you get a fault code reader and scan the car for faults. Without the fault codes everything is a guess.
  3. Probably an amp problem. Depending on which amp you have it could have a separate fuse on the amp - if not you likely will need a new one.
  4. Try 3186 or 3184 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST No luck yet. I've expanded out by two's to 3176 and 3192....any advice? If not thanks anyways. Can the dealer provide the code by the serial number or VIN? READ the FAQ.
  5. I am closing this as this has been discussed here many times before -- and we do not support copyright infringement here.
  6. How about cleaning radiators and adding a 3rd radiator? Speeding up the fans is "after the fact" to me.
  7. I was searching with different keywords information how to decode the engine number. As the model is M97/01, followed with 687.....I suppose the model year is from 2007??? Am I right? I don´t know it exactaly as I boufgt the engine separately... Yes, serial numbers starting with 697 should be model year 2007.
  8. Ah, thanks Loren. I actually used that wire already when I did the Ipod mod. No prob to use it again, of course, but does it dim? If not, I guess it's no big deal, the footwell lights will just be on during the day also... What do you mean by dim? The only dimming lights are on the instrument cluster.
  9. Search is your friend - this has been covered many times before... http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=4822
  10. Glad you were not injured. Be sure and have them check the right rear suspension and brakes. If you you were hit hard enough to bend a wheel then the car took a pretty hard shock. Might be a good idea to inspect and/or replace the engine mounts too.
  11. In most of the PET diagrams the front of the car is on the left. Also, remember the hoses/lines branch out to the radiators in the right and left fenders then they narrow down the central tunnel to go back to the engine.
  12. PIWIS is the dealer/OPC workshop computer for diagnosis and programming. Unless you have a spare $18,000 around you won't be able to lease from Porsche. Some independent shops have a PIWIS tester and all dealers/OPCs have them. Cost will depend on which part needs replacing and whether or not you have any warranty left.
  13. You can buy inexpensive hand fluid pumps at most auto parts stores.
  14. The headlight adjustment procedure is in your Owners Manual.
  15. Also, can the horns be removed--either one or both-without removing the whole bumper? Perhaps if you have small hands. It only takes 15 minutes to remove the bumper and you might as well clean the radiators while you are there.
  16. They are all in this DIY article - RoW M030 Sport Suspension Install
  17. Have a look at TSB 9/04 4440 Wheels For 19" Brake Rotors -- dated Aug 10, 2004 and TSB 4/07 4440 Approved Tires, Wheels and Spacers (As of 2003 up to 2006) -- dated Nov 5, 2007
  18. I already answered your request here Why did you post this again? This topic is closed.
  19. Something is not right in the the throttle body. Did you remove the throttle body to clean it?
  20. Try 2689 or 2687 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  21. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...st&p=151105
  22. I am assuming for the front diff. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=7069 Rick Thanks Rick, however, I am looing for a guide for the rear differential. On the manual shift cars the transmission and differential are all one and share the same oil.
  23. From the first post and Porsche's service manaul - "Note: All are synthetic GL4 and GL5 rated (or "non-conventional processing") oils. GL oils have good light running properties because of their light low-temperature viscosity as well as a high level of temperature stability."
  24. My mistake... P1504 Throttle jacking unit, emergency air position - signal implausible Possible fault cause - No adaptation performed - Throttle part Throttle jacking is the egas throttle control on the side of the throttle body. Is it unplugged? Does the throttle butterfly move smoothly? Does it return closed when released?
