  1. That is not a Porsche 'approved' transmission oil. Porsche specifies 'approved' transmission oils in a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin).
  2. Go to the TSB section. Choose 'Search All (1310) TSBs'. For the search criteria choose Sort/Order by 'date' in 'Descending Order'. That will give you all the latest TSBs (for all models by date order (newest first).
  3. P0160 Oxygen Sensor After TWC, Bank 2 – Open Circuit Possible fault cause - Open circuit in signal wire or ground wire of oxygen sensor - Oxygen sensor heating faulty Follow the exhaust on the right side of the car. It will be the sensor after the cat on the right side exhaust.
  4. PSM will not likely come on until you drive the car. Find someone with the Durametric software, a PST2 or PIWIS tester and have them run diagnostics on the car. Could be a bad MAF and/or throttle sensor.
  5. We have added and/or updated May, June, and July 2009 TSBs in the following categories (33 TSBs total): 987-1 = 4 987-2 = 3 987C = 3 987C2 = 2 997-1 = 6 997-2 = 4 997 GT3 = 3 997 TT = 1 Cayenne = 4 Cayenne gen 2 = 2 All/Other = 1
  6. There are no springs - it is a push fit on the mounting rod. You will either need to replace the visors and/or mounting pins. or perhaps some way to tighten the fit on the visor (tape? or ?). The visor pulls right off the mounting pin.
  7. Please do a search this has been covered in detail. Sorry if I'm missing something, but I have run multiple searches on this board for this problem prior to posting this question, but from what I've seen, all of them talk about how to replace the illuminated mirror flap part inside the sun visor, and not how to repair the spring in the sun visor itself. My entire sun visor is loose (my vanity mirror works fine), and when I put the sun visor in the up position, it just falls back down about 2 or 3 inches. If you could link me to the archive pages where it covers this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=1512 http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...ost&p=48358
  8. Try 6600 or 6598 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST Did you read the FAQ? Did you follow the instructions to have the radio show the serial number on the display? Is that the serial number that you posted?
  9. You have to read through the other posts - there was a second question about the valve on the filler pipe. The EVAP Canister Purge valve is as shown in your diagram - it is on the engine.
  10. Check your brake lights - do they work? Clean your throttle body and MAF.
  11. Please do a search this has been covered in detail.

  13. Postponed to a later date (to be announced).
  14. From the Board Guidelines/Rules - "You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this bulletin board."
  15. About 15 minutes to remove the front bumper and another 5 minutes to replace the horns.
  16. hey loren do you have the 996 cup car parts diagram for front and rear suspension i have cup car center lock system on my car and i need some replacement parts. also do you where i can order those cup car parts from? thanks What model year? parts change.
  17. Item 11 - 955.341.027.02 Upper wishbone -- US MSRP $265.44 each The part number has been changed 3 times (total) - so it might be wise to replace both sides.
  18. M97.01 serial number 686 xxxxx is likely a MY2006 engine. (which is good)
  19. See if they comes back. If they do, then check the list of probable causes.
  20. It is likely the switch on the door handle - or a bad regulator if the window has other problems.
  21. The B&M shifter shifter instructions are quite good for this. You can download them here.
  22. :welcome: P0171 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 1 – Above Limit P0174 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 2 – Above Limit Possible fault cause - Incorrect signal from MAF sensor - Intake air system leaking - Fuel pressure too low - Volume supply of fuel pump too low - Fuel injectors fouled - PCV valve leaks - Cap of oil filler neck not closed correctly or seal is damaged
  23. :welcome: It is likely that your AC condensation drain tube is blocked or out of position. When proper clean and aligned it should drain under the car.
