  1. Fog Lights are relay position 12. That would be 3rd row from the top and the second relay from the left. (p/n 141.951.253.B - the same as the horns relay position 10)
  2. Thanks Loren. I had read that any tap water in the system could cause problems. Not unless it is really bad tap water. Porsche just says "water". Intermix problems are a bad head gasket or a cracked cylinder liner in most cases.
  3. Then I would suspect a VarioCam problem. See if there are any VarioCam tests or real time data - if so compare bank1 and bank 2. If you can't do that with the Durametric then you will need a PST2 or PIWIS tester.
  4. Why? If they used either of the two Porsche coolants you should be fine. Both the old (greenish-yellow) and new (pink) Porsche coolants can be mixed.
  5. The motor usually either works or it doesn't - I would suspect the regulator.
  6. :welcome: Model and year of your car please?
  7. Try 0534 or 0532 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  8. 2 beeps mean there is a fault in the system (other than an open zone). Fault code 60 - Central locking limit position 'Locked' not reached Possible cause of fault - Central locking switch faulty - Short circuit to ground/open circuit in wiring between the alarm system control module, central locking switch or door locks - Driver's/passenger's door lock faulty - Control module faulty
  9. Please read the FAQ... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  10. P1130 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 2 – Above Limit or P1130 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 2 – Below Limit Possible causes: – Incorrect signal from MAF sensor – Intake air system leaking – Fuel pressure too low – Volume supply of fuel pump too low – Fuel injectors fouled – Exhaust system leaking The first two are the most common. Usually either a bad MAF or a an air leak like a loose hose, cracked AOS (and or bellows), cracked oil fill tube, or even a bad o-ring seal on the oil filler cap.
  11. Know problems are loose or corroded bulbs, broken connectors (at the socket inside the fender), pins in the connector pushing out when the headlight is pushed into it. Please do a search in the 996 series cars for more details.
  12. :welcome: Search is your friend... Carbon Canister removal is here

  14. You just pry upwards and toward the rear of the car. Don't forget to disconnect the electrical connector.
  15. Porsche does not spec it that way. From the flat on bolt to the end is 45 mm. So if you put on 5 mm spacers you need the longer 50 mm bolts.
  16. You will likely need a fixed wing wiring harness like the aerokit has - but frankly the aftermarket people should be telling you what you need to install their wing.
  17. Model and year of your car please...
  18. Yes, it should pull off and the new one push on. If the old one is 'glued' in place from heat then you might carefully cut it off.
  19. Oil pressure reads in bar. 1 bar = 100000 Pa 1psi = 6890 Pa approx 14.5 psi to the bar
  20. Send an email to JeffClark@sunsetimports.com and see if he can find the part number. My parts list does not break it down - only the whole kit. (the pic is from the install TSB)
  21. Chances are you have a bad seat belt buckle. You will need to read the fault code using the Durametric software, a PST2 or PIWIS tester to find the exact cause (which buckle). There is a TSB for replacing the buckles and re-soldering the ground wires.
  22. Can you tell me which parts you need? How to replace the roof rail covers
