  2. well, if you are not sure it is coming from the top then the most likely problem is the front hood. If the front hood is not level or just a tiny bit below the front bumper then you will get some wind noise.
  3. 1b/00 6101 Noises in the Convertible Top -- Aug 24, 2001 1a/00 6101 Noises in the Convertible Top -- Oct 27, 2000 1/00 6101 Noises In The Convertible Top -- Sep 15, 2000 4/03 6110 Rattling Noises From The Cabriolet Top -- May 23, 2003
  4. Please read the TSBs on this subject - as a Contributing Member you can read TSBs here online. Porsche has covered many of the problem areas.
  5. There is a TSB that says replace the faulting belt buckle and re-solder the ground connections under the drivers seat. I personally would not be cheap when it comes to airbags, seat belts and brakes - they all work to save your life.
  6. Buy the Durametric not a knockoff. With Durametric you get free software updates and great support.
  7. Did you look for the paper version behind the fuse box lid?
  8. Are you sure the tailpipe is not just mis-adjusted or came loose. Fairly common.
  9. Those will not your car - they are Bi-Xenons for later model cars. You want true Litronics.
  10. There is one control unit for each headlight. Factory option is M601.
  11. :welcome: Whomever upgraded the car to Litronics did not add in the control module for each headlight that combines both the Halogen high beam and the Xenon low beam - when the high beams are on. These come in the upgrade kit but some folks are too lazy to wire them up. It takes maybe one hour more to add in the control modules.
  12. That sure is what it looks like - pried out.
  13. OBD II port for the MY06 Cayman is CAN. If they do not know how to connect to CAN then I suggest you find another company. Dozens, if not hundreds of folks have this working.
  14. I do not see how a flywheel problem (flywheel position sensor) could cause an O2 sensor fault.
  15. Follow the troubleshooting tree I posted above - IF your faults are exactly the same.
  16. If the data logger can communicate on CAN then it should work. What actual data you can get is up to the the data logger software.
  17. When odd electrical problems (other than the headlights only) it is most commonly the ignition switch. Anything on switched power can be affected.
  18. Try 4284 or 4282 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  19. On the cluster? If so, see your owners manual. or on the climate control display?
  20. Each key has to be programmed with your car (and any other keys) using a PIWIS tester. They should have told you that.
  21. Please do a search here - this has been covered dozens of times. You need to read the faults code(s) to see what is reporting the fault. Everything else is just a guess.
  22. I had that light earlier this year - was fixed by previous owner at the dealer by replacing seat belt buckle drivers side. Over the weekend I got the airbag failure light again - could be passenger side? What was your fix? You need to read the faults code(s) to see what is reporting the fault. Everything else is just a guess.
  23. Try our search - this has been covered many times...
  24. :welcome: 955.044.900.02 PCM 2.0 Upgrade Kit (USA) -- US MSRP $4892.09 (without installation) I think you can find and implement better 3rd party solutions - for less money.
