  1. Have cleaned the throttle body and Idle Control Valve? AND... even thought you have no CEL - you should have the fault codes read. Look for pending faults.
  2. I think I figured it out. My car was manufactured on 10/27/05 so the proper part number should be: 997.642.137.02 If you could confirm that would be great. Thanks, Mike Yes, according to the parts list that should work.
  3. You need to check your VIN against listings. If you don't have the listings then PM your VIN and I will look it up for you.
  4. Try 6924 or 6922 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  5. There is not another try - PLEASE read the FAQ.
  6. Try 5890 or 5888 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  7. Even thought you have no CEL - you should have the fault codes read. Look for pending faults.
  8. The belt will stretch a little when it's warm. I would check the pulleys to make none have any wobble and replace the belt with the Porsche version.
  9. I would try it again - sometimes control modules have trouble initializing even with the Porsche tools. Also, make sure you have the latest Durametric update (they are free).
  10. Try 0812 or 0810 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  11. :welcome: That is not a Porsche part number. Is this the rear end controller? If so you need 955.618.029.04.
  12. For S/N X502354 Try 3138 or 3136 Both 3138 and 3136 didn't work. 3140 neither. S/N is X5025354 not X502354, sorry. I gave you the code for X5025354 (my typo sorry).
  13. There is one control unit for each headlight. Factory option is M601. Loren, What control unit is this? Where are they located at? It is separate from the ballast I am assuming, but I have been all through my headlamp assy and didn't see anything else that looks like a control unit. I'm asking because me driver headlamp and highbeam (Litronic on 01 996TT) is working intermittently with the "flicker" on the low beam. Today I had the low beam working and hit the high beam to see what it would do and the low went out and the high never lit. Thanks, Dan. As I said my reply to your PM - -- Litronic and Bi-Xenon are different in how they work. Your car is an 01 996TT and it has Bi_Xenon. That means one bulb and mask that controls what part of the beam is used for low beam vs. high beam. The control unit on Bi-Xenon is attached to the headlight assembly (item 16).
  14. For S/N X502354 Try 3138 or 3136
  15. My Boxster 2003 S which I changed cluster on is not possible to change anything with the OBC hack.Could this be because the WIN is not right,I also got protected on my CDR 23 radio. What need to be changed with the Porsche tool? /Per Yes, the new cluster needs to be synch'ed with your DME and other MOST devices.
  16. Try 0363 or 0361 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  17. This has to be something on the intake side - either an air leak or exhaust leak. Odd that there are no fault codes. What does your MAF read at idle and at 2500 RPM (no load)? Are your FRA and TRA steady at idle and what are the O2 sensors reading at idle?
  18. Please read this and follow the instructions... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST I will only answer radio code requests in the one thread linked at the end of the FAQ. This thread is now closed.
  19. You will likely need to put the Durametric software or a PIWIS tester on the car to determine if the problem is the light sensor or the cluster.
  20. PM member Porschelibrarian -- he should be able to help you.
  21. Try 1128 or 1126 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  22. Part numbers are funny - sometimes they change because of a design change and sometimes they change because Porsche's vendor changes. That is why I say maybe Jeff knows.
  23. Yes, it is switched engine power - it shares the circuit with the fuel pump relay. The fuse is between the fuel pump relay and the engine purge fan. Sorry, but pulling the fuse does not solve the inherent problem. I would put a PST2 or PIWIS tester on the car and test the circuits and control.
  24. Porsche shows different part number for brakes from 2009 to 2010. Sorry, I do not know the actual difference. Perhaps Jeff Clark at Sunset Imports knows?
