  1. :welcome: Do you mean item 3?
  2. Try 5562 or 5560 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  3. Sorry, you did not state above. Just jack the car up and remove the strut and spring assembly. Carefully hold the assembly and release the tension on the spring. Replace the strut and slightly compress to reassemble and install. Suspension pieces should always be replaced in (axle) pairs. So if you replace a spring or strut you should replace both.
  4. Try 8813 or 8811 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  5. Please read the FAQ - CDR-23 does not have a code. It must be matched with the car using a PST2 or PIWIS tester.
  6. Try 0391 or 0389 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  7. Model and year car? Front or Rear?
  8. Try 6780 or 6778 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST I tried all those numbers : 6774,6776,6778, 6780,6782,6784,6786,6788 none of them worked, should I try more number ? or do you have any other number I can try ? Thanks for your help PLEASE read the FAQ.
  9. Try 1412 or 1410 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  10. Radio backlight is controlled (from the instrument cluster/headlights) by a green/blue wire on Plug A (black) pin 6 of the radio.
  11. I have no idea about that model. My program only works on Porsche Becker units as noted in the FAQ.
  12. CDR-32 is an RoW version of the CDR-22 and similar to the CDR-220. It should work in MY99 - MY02. You may need to set the country code to get the proper station frequencies.
  13. Exact model and year of your car please...
  14. :welcome: Please do a search this and possible solution have been covered many times. Also, search for "bleeding" displays.
  15. That will vary kit to kit (and the kit changes depending on model, transmission, etc.). Porsche puts together "balanced" shock, spring, and swaybar sets for performance and safety. I think the Boxster S would have the largest swaybars but I do not know the exact measurements.
  16. Try 7127 or 7125 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  17. :welcome: Tires can do it that is why Porsche says always change both ties on the same axle. I would start by getting some know good tires (i.e. swap with a friend) and try some stops. Obviously if it goes away - you've found your problem.
  18. Opend the rear cover but nothing in there only one thick wire whitch comming from rear lights.. on top of the bumper devided and going up and forward. It is strange i dont see any cables sticking out for the possible input in to the PDC but the car has 12 sensors on top over the drivers had you see the button P)) and i have disassambled on the rear over the head of the passangers there is an indicator ( it is there and the cables are going in so where can I put the PDC box if there are no connectors :( Do you have some blueprint to see if i am missing something? Or i cant see them??? Thanks for your help Loren ( you are the only one who knows a lot of stuff about porsche-s and tries to help us who know nothing) Best regards PM me your VIN and I will have it looked up to see if Parkassist came on your car.
  19. Coolant would smell and have a slightly oily feel. Most likely is WW fluid. Either a broken line or a leaky pump or a cracked tank. You will need to remove the wheel and wheel liner to inspect. The tank and pump(s) (two if you have headlight washers) are high up in the left front fender.
  20. and of course, unlupg the wire connector from the back.
  21. Yes, left rear inside panel. Did you get the owners manuals? If so, then look in the back for an option sticker listing.
  22. 2004 special anniversary edition did indeed get a 987 air box and filter. Porsche says the anniversary edition delivers 6 more horsepower than the standard S of the same year. Porsche guy in Stuggart that we talked to earlier this year to get help in programming a new DME for my '04 anniversary edition, told us it is actually 8 hp more coming from a slightly different DME program combined with the airbox. Other difference I found - it also has an X51 oil pan baffle....I dropped the pan to put one in, and it was already there. Bought car new....can't find anything from Porsche that says this is factory installed, but there it was. Are you sure it was an X51 baffle - did it have flaps? The stock baffle looks similar stock on left -- X51 on right. (sorry can't remember where I got these images)
  23. Please do not double post - your second identical post has been deleted. Please re-read the board Guildelines/Rules that you agreed to when you registered here. "Please post your messages in one forum only. Crossposting, double posting, triple posting, etc. are all a waste of time and valuable resources. If you post the same message in multiple times or in multiple forums, we will delete the ones we feel are inappropriate."
  24. I think only the "50 Years Special Edition" got the newer style 987 air box. But I do not recall any extra HP (maybe 1 or 2 HP).
