  1. Do you mean finding from a dealer or other source -- or do you mean in the parts list. The parts is is what Porsche is currently selling - so if they are not on the list then they may not be available.
  2. I don't know if these will work for Traffic Pro - if it requires a 4 digit code it might. But if it is a 5 digit code then it won't work. Try 5096 or 5094
  3. Try 6883 or 6881 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  4. Try 2985 or 2983 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  5. Eric is member here too. Member number 37 (if you check) so he has been around since day one. You can PM or email him Eric (Plug Guy)
  6. When a car sits that long it is a crap shoot. You don't know what condition it was before it was stored and you don't know what has happened since. I would put some light weight oil in the car (10W) and try to use a wrench to turn the engine over by hand. If you can get it to turn easily without bad noises or excessive resistance then I would go ahead and try to start it. If it starts you will likely get some to a lot of smoke - let it run just a few minutes then drain the oil and have a look at what you have. If you have small plastic parts they are likely chain ramps that have aged and become brittle and starting to let go. If you have metal parts try to see if they are bearing (usually a softer metal) or what. If it is clean then you maybe very lucky and could try regular weight oil and starting again. That would be what I would do.
  7. :welcome: Please do not post in ALL CAPS - on the Internet that is SHOUTING and considered rude. Downloadable Parts Lists for all Porsche models
  8. (photo courtesy Tom Morris) Still a little hard to see even with the arrow bout the CD Changer wires pass through here.
  9. Umm... I think it is the other way around - the rears are simple and rarely require a spring compressor.
  10. How to become a Contributing Member
  11. The only way to really test a battery is to take it out of the system (out of the car) and have it load tested at shop that has load testing equipment. AND each cell should be tested for specific gravity readings within an acceptable range.
  12. I am using information from Porsche part list and it shows those (.52 and .53 filter) for both Carrera/Boxster and Cayenne. So, same part numbers for both cars.
  13. Thank you Richard! Great info. I am adding the report below as a PDF for those that do not like the online reader (like me ;) ) Porsche_SE_Annual_Report_0809.pdf
  14. Try 1528 or 1526 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  15. I own both, so does that means the 996 filter 99-01 will fit a cayenne?. Yes, they will fit the MY03-06 Cayenne S and Turbo (but not the V6).
  16. .52 and .53 are spec'ed for the 3.4 liter engines and .60 is only spec'ed for the 3.6 liter engines (per the December 2009 Porsche Parts List).
  17. Try 0073 or 0071 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  18. One honk or two honks? One means a zone is open. Two means there is an alarm fault - alarm fault codes will need to be read if this is the case.
  19. Use the emergency release cable (covered here in detail many many times).
  20. Yes the price includes installation. Can not believe they do not sell the small strips separately, stock store rooms must be huge if a door handle in every colour was kept. Might have to do some scrap yard searches. Thanks There are only 2 or 3 handle colors - they must be painted to match (that is what the G2X means in the part number).
  21. It could be but usually it is best to check the obvious first. Beside pulling the unit out to check the fuse on the back also allows you to inspect the fiber connections.
  22. Try 0059 or 0057 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  23. Check the right fuse panel - fuse 11 (10A). If that is good check the fuse on the back of the unit.
  24. Yes. I believe you are correct.
  25. If it was not that way before then take it back. Chances are the connection is loose or the sender has gone bad.
