  1. Although I never saw a TSB on it - my understanding was that there was a DME program update that corrected the fan from running too often. So, perhaps your fan is more normal. My MY99 996 rarely comes on even in 100 plus degree weather here in California.
  2. Usually they look pretty close. I would find a good shop the do corner balancing and alignment.
  3. Porsche has added a short form of this to their website. Cayenne starts on page 12. All Cars Tires - Summer.pdf
  4. If you use the right DME and cats - then it should work just like any other 3.4 liter.
  5. The new cooler should fit - according to PET it is a direct replacement.
  6. The brake lights do go through the same harness so I would check them closely.

  11. Remove the connector and then unscrew the sensor. Install is the reverse. It is a little hardto get to on a 996 but doable with the right wrench and a little patience.
  12. As a Contributing Member you can review Porsche's approved tires in the TSBs. Summer tires and Wheels.
  13. Could be overflow - or could be a cracked coolant tank. Check the carpet in the rear trunk - if it's wet then you likely have a cracked tank.
  14. Not much to choose from...
  15. 955.721.151.00 Towing lug -- US MSRP $14.06 Any Porsche dealer/OPC or Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost)
  16. MY2002 Harman Amp - M490
  17. Did you need to run a relay for the higher current draw of the more powerful horn? Or did the supply of one side of the original horns have enough juice? The existing relay is fine and it is already fused too.
  18. Please give our Search a try: Limited Slip Differential
  19. Please give our search a try: Porsche Motorsports AOS Install in 986S Will a Motorsports AOS work on a Boxster?
  20. Removing the BOSE speaker enclosure Removal Instructions 1. Remove the cover trim 1 at the left and right towards the front. 2. Unscrew the fastening screw 2 at the left and right. 3. Pull the sound package 3 in the direction of the arrow out of the bracket 4 and fold over. 4. Disconnecting the plug connection. Press plugs 5 together and pull apart. Then lift the carpet/foam cover. You can see the strut mounts in each corner.
