  1. Yes, the control is inside the PDK. Likely best it be checked with a PIWIS.
  2. P1990 PDK Software monitoring A (or B) of signal processing unit Possible fault causes: - PDK control unit faulty Fault effects: - CAN alive counter freeze - Engine speed limitation - Transmission limphome indication in instrument cluster control unit C150 DME control module, communication Possible fault causes: - No power supply for DME control module - DME control module incorrectly coded - Short circuit or open circuit in the CAN drive - DME control module faulty (in most cases the cause is not the DME control module but incorrect coding!) C152 PSM control module, communication Possible fault causes: - No power supply for PSM control module - PSM control module incorrectly coded - Short circuit or open circuit in the CAN drive - PSM control module faulty (in most cases the cause is not the PSM control module but incorrect coding!) Unless you know of some circumstance that may have affected these units (damage from accident, flooding, accidental short circuit, ... or even mice damaged wires) then you will likely need a Porsche PIWIS tester to run further diagnostics and re-programing.
  3. Sometimes when there is a voltage spike to the system (like connecting a new battery) the programming can get "mixed up". When this happens the best thing to do is have a tech/shop with a PIWIS re-program the affected control module(s). I think it very rare to replace a DME if most everything but one or two items are not working.
  4. As long as the majority are in the 1-3 range then it is usually considered good.
  5. In my experience when you fix a problem that affects the "Ready" state it takes some time of driving to accumulate enough good test results to change the state. I have seen this with both O2 sensors and SAI issues.
  6. That part does not show in the parts list so I think you are looking at a salvage yard or replacing the whole under deck lid cover. Sorry.
  7. Hmm... i think the GT2 only has the one opening for the air filter cool air intake on the right side. Perhaps an aftermarket spoiler?
  8. Ok - Model and year of the car please? Did you install a GT2 spoiler/rear lid?
  9. Try this for your photo... PicResize - Crop, Resize, Edit images online for free! PICRESIZE.COM The original FREE picture resize and crop tool since 2005! Resize, crop, compress, add effects to your images, photos, and screenshots for free!
  10. Did you use the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ to get the correct serial number (in the display)? If not, please do so and re-submit the correct serial number.
  11. Looks like it's 996 512 334 01 - Intake manifold Air Filter -- about $44 US MSRP
  12. I think you mean Jake Raby of LN Engineering. The DVD is on sale right now for $299. Jake Raby's Porsche M96/M97 Engine Rebuild DVD LNENGINEERING.COM Rennvision’s Focus on: M9X Engine Assembly by Jake Raby goes step by step on how to correctly rebuild a Porsche M96 or M97 engine in this 5 disc DVD set.
