  1. Try 5043 or 5041 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  2. If you look at the menu right above this forum you will see "Links" - click on that. The link is there under Porsche documentation.
  3. You can buy individual schematics on the Porsche website for $1.80 each.
  4. 7.9 US Gallons (28 liters) in a GT3 so I doubt that did much. Antifreeze in coolant: 50% gives protection down to -31°F/-35°C 60% gives protection down to -58°F/-50°C
  5. A complete Search engine overhaul is coming in the next software release (3.1). I am testing it now so we are likely just few weeks out. I'll try to post more details in my blog soon....
  6. Try 5080 or 5078 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  7. Should not me more than 1 hour labor - this is a 15 minute job.
  8. Check all the fuses first if they are all good then... Remove the drivers seat and take the alarm box out of the car (after disconnecting the battery of course). Open it up and dry it out - look for corrosion or shorts. If it is fried then you are looking at new box and programming. That is why they call it an 'immobilizer'.
  9. No, others here have had problems with 'contact cleaner' or 'electronics cleaner'. MAF sensor cleaner is usually not more than $1 more if that much. I use the CRC MAF sensor cleaner product.
  10. I don't think it has anything to do with the Techroline - I have been using it for years. All it takes is a spec of oil from the K&N to hit MAF and then dirt sticks to the MAF and throw the readings off. Chances are you can clean the MAF and everything will be fine.
  11. Try 9623 or 9621 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  12. They are no different for 6 speed or Tip. Nor for AC or no AC. I gave you the toques above - ig you are not sure which is which check the bolt sizes.
  13. :welcome: Look at my post two posts above yours. That is all the info you can get from the old VINs. Thanks Loren, I guess the confusion about my car is some sites show the vin number to be a 1968 car ?, and I'm trying to determine if the car is an "S" or "T" engine. Thanks again 119 would make it a 1969 car. What the car came with and what it has now might be two different engines. If you get me the serial number of the engine I can likely tell you what it started life as.
  14. Sometimes the insulators crack with age (same as the ignition coil packs). I change mine every 4 or 5 years simply because I don't want to chasing an intermittent fault caused by one of these.
  15. 8 US quarts with filter change. Use a new sealing ring 900.123.106.30 -- US MSRPO $0.87 Oil filter (w/o-ring) 948.107.022.00 -- US MSRP $28.52 I don't know if the Durametric will reset the code or not - a question for the Durametric folks. Anyone with a PIWIS tester can reset it. Where are you located?
  16. :welcome: Look at my post two posts above yours. That is all the info you can get from the old VINs.

  21. Start by cleaning throttle body. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?/tutorials/article/59-diy-throttle-body-cleaning/
  22. It was called Riviera Blue (at least the stickers were). The body parts are stickers but the wheels are painted. Sorry, Porsche does not list wheel paint colors in their parts list.
  23. CDC-3 is the CD Changer not the radio. See the FAQ for how to read out the radio serial number. Please read this and follow the instructions... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST Sorry - my mistake, was reading from the card in my owner's portfolio.
