  1. Is this only with the top down? Have you tried the manual activation switch? Did you check the fuse D8?
  2. :welcome: As with any leak the first thing to do is clean off all the old oil that has been blown around on the engine from driving. Once the engine is clean start the car run it until it completely warmed up - turn it off and inspect for the origin of your leak(s).
  3. I think a better way to measure what is acceptable draw on the battery and what is not is with an amp meter. If you put an amp meter in series with the battery - with everything 'off' you should have a draw of about 40-60 ma. This is primarily the alarm system. You can do the same test pulling one fuse at a time but now you will see which one is the major draw.
  4. Looks good - looks like a Porsche commercial ;)
  5. Please send Scouser an email and report that issue. Your car comes up as a 2.7 liter car - non S version in Porsche's database.
  6. Try 8317 or 8315 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  7. There is a DIY Tutorial on this... Optima Battery Install
  8. 955.552.127.01 Housing glove box lock (item 12) -- US MSRP $13.11 955.552.128.00 Catch glove box (item 13) -- US MSRP $13.11 Passenger mirror Rosette (item 39 or dash trim 38)?
  9. LOL - I just use pliers (as shown in the pictures) and a thin piece of wood (to prevent damage to the pistons). Never found a car I needed the expensive tool for (yet).
  10. With all due respect - what do you mean by 'funny smell'? Does it smell like burning rubber? oil? or what?
  11. What was the exact fault code please?
  12. Try 9341 or 9339 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  13. Try 2886 or 2884 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  14. Did you change the electric harness back to the original one?
  15. No just a direct replacement.
  16. thanks loren... I swapped over the relays and still not got the drivers side working. Looks like it might be the fan itself on that side. Will take it apart this afternoon and test the fan. Thans again Could be the ballast resistor - fairly common failure.
  17. Up under the dash - I corrected my typo -- 'above' the fuse box area.
  18. Look in the DIY Tutorial under 996 Maintenance - the procedure is the same. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?/tutorials/article/53-brake-pad-change-instructions/
  19. The relays are above the fuse box. Each relay position is labeled. These 4 are the in the second row from the bottom - 3rd to 5th positions from the left (19, 20, 21, 22).
  20. 4 plus year old battery - I would start with a new battery.
  21. Hmm... I think you should buy a service manual ;) Sunset has them sale (while quantities last) Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost 16 volumes in the Cayenne set.
  22. Sorry, was thinking about the wrong car - no relays for the window motors. C3 fuses - interior alarm sensor, central locking button, tilt sensor, sun sensor and the external consumer terminal.
