  1. Did you check to see if the cold start valve is leaking fuel?
  2. Is the problem on one side or both? If it is one side then you likely have a bad ballast resistor.
  3. Check for any fault codes with an OBD II reader. Check the connection on the MAF. Any off road excursions or recent damage? Any mechanical work done lately?
  4. So your brake lights work?
  5. Before or after installing the new water pump? Back flush before the new pump - flush and refill after the new pump.
  6. Try 9518 or 9516 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  7. Just have any good shop back flush plastic pieces out and then flush and refill the whole system.
  8. Not from Porsche - but check with Eric at http://Bumperplugs.com
  9. If there was oil in the throttle body (rather than black carbon) then you likely have a cracked or broken AOS.
  10. Start by checking the brake light switch on the pedal.
  11. Durametric can read and reset fault codes as well as display actual values -- but it can not perform the Tiptronic specific diagnostic tests.
  12. I would start by cleaning the throttle body and butterfly valve on the intake. BTW... the MAF has little or nothing to do with idle.
  13. The car needs to be put on a PST2 or PIWIS tester and have the Tiptronic diagnostics run.
  14. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?/topic/1728-horn-problem
  15. Wheel Enhancement does wheel swaps where they buy your old wheels and you get new ones at a discount. Those are Carrera II wheels.
  16. Model and year of your car please?
  17. You can usually find Mobil 1 on sale at some auto parts store for about $5 per liter (US). The last oil filter i got from Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost) was under $15 (US). NAPA in the US sells a compatible oil filter wrench for under $10 US. Correct spark plugs for a MY2000 Boxster S -- 14FGR 6KQU
  18. Try 4768 or 4766 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  19. Yes, the Tiptronic has a bunch of solenoids.
  20. Yup, a crow-foot wrench is handy for it though (unless you have small hands and small wrenches).
  21. 19 RADIATOR FAN 1 STAGE1 141. 951.253.B 20 RADIATOR FAN 1 STAGE 2 141.951.253.B 21 RADIATOR FAN 2 STAGE1 141.951.253.B 22 RADIATOR FAN 2 STAGE 2 141.951.253.B
  22. Both fans or just one? Try swapping relays to verify the problem.
  23. You can only read alarm faults with either the Durametric software, a Porsche PST2 tester, or a Porsche PIWIS tester. You will need to connect one of these to the car to see what is causing the fault(s).
  24. 1 beep = at least one alarm zone is open. 2 beeps = you have an alarm fault (that needs to be corrected).
