  1. Yes, please read the FAQ. Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  2. Yes, there is a harness for this. You do not cut wires to deactivate the light. http://www.renntech....light-always-on
  3. Try 0784 or 0782 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  4. Yes, the yellow can look greenish in the right light and the pink might look red in the right light too. Pink is the latest and they can be mixed.
  5. Mark I Aerokit/GT3 bumper - the same that is on my car.
  6. A "chirp" sound is usually a loose spark plug - have you checked those? If not the spark plug then remove the polyrib belt and check each pulley for wobble and/or squeaks. Replace any that exhibit those symptoms.
  7. I would take all the belly pans off the car and do a thorough inspection on both sides of the car. You don't want a slightly damaged clutch or brake line failing at the wrong time.
  8. I think the correct microphone cover for a MY2001 Boxster is: 996.552.625.02.A03 Microphone cover in lacquered black -- US MSRP $11.86
  9. It's a yellowish color? Confused because this says it's a red color???? http://www.suncoastp...996WaterCooling (image courtesy Tool Pants)
  10. Probably need to check with Durametric on that. A PST2 or PIWIS tester (like your dealer has) definitely will.
  11. Is this a US/Canada car? MAF would not cause misfires unless they were on all cylinders. Best check to see if the coil packs are damaged or the electrical connectors are not on tight. Are all the O2 sensors still in use?
  12. Consider yourself lucky - they changed them in late 2001. Definitely no in 2002 and newer.
  13. Have you added any LED lights to the car?
  14. The display changed - those won't work on a 2001 and newer car.
  15. From the Porsche 2005 Product Information Book 987 series... "On the Boxster S with Tiptronic S, an additional third radiator is used in the front end of the vehicle to facilitate cooling of the automatic transmission oil via an additional oil-water heat exchanger in the common water circuit."
  16. Sometimes the front and rear controllers need to be re-programmed. You will need a PIWIS to do this. Unless you have some other physical problem with the car I would not worry about these insignificant codes.
  17. Yes, I know Turbo owners that use 1 quart ever 600 miles. Some of these cars use some oil and some don't. I would be more concerned with any abrupt change in usage - double the amount used or oil level all of sudden too high are signs of problems.
  18. Have you changed the fuel filter? Take the air cleaner off and look at the throttle body for carbon and/or oil. Let us know what you find.
  19. Model and year please? By same - what do you mean? Slow cranking? No crank? crank but no start? hot, cold or all the time? -- please be more specific
  20. One quart in 1000 miles is considered within normal limits by Porsche.
  21. Try 6957 or 6955 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  22. Sorry, the window regulator has an MSRP of $239.05 -- so it look like your dealer took advantage.
  23. 40 - 60 ma is about average with an alarm system. How old is your battery? What is your charging voltage?
