  1. Item 35 should be screws. Item 34 are plastic panels and they should certainly be re-usable.
  2. This topic is going nowhere but down hill - so it is closed.
  3. Try 6754 or 6752 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  4. By hot RFM means full operating temperature. I think the air flows back to the coolant overflow tank and is vented there.
  5. Probably a bad microswitch or the top is out of calibration - a PST2 or PIWIS tester can diagnose further and re-calibrate if needed.
  6. There is no "fast trick" - the right tools and hoist will go as fast as possible. But you will still need to do an alignment afterward.
  7. Yes, (asleep again). I have corrected it.
  8. 996.105.303.05 is for a 996 engine 996.105.303.06 is only for the Carrera GT(according to where used in PET)
  9. Sorry, my mistake - your car is a 987. Yes it is on the drivers side but access is through the front trunk. You will need to remove the luggage compartment lining to get to the upper plug. and remover the two torx head screws. Then remove the inner wheel well lining and disconnect the canister fittings there (underneath the canister as you lift).
  10. Yes, the same part number is used on the (rear) of the following cars.
  11. Right front fender - behind the wheel well liner.
  12. Thanks, I'll check that. This noise persists even when the car isn't moving. Do you think a loose swaybar would make noise due to engine vibration? If it does it standing still then it is more likely to be a heat shield near one of the mufflers.
  13. Very interesting - my PET (Update 256 / 37) set to Other (market) or Local does not offer that.
  14. I don't think so. Even a PST2 only gives you the date and time the fault was "read" by the PST2.
  15. From the FAQ... "Can you give me a code for my PCM (or Traffic Pro)? Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM (or Traffic Pro) code is from a dealer/OPC."
  16. Follow the direction arrows to see the next downstream locations. 1- Water pump 2 - Crankcase 3 - Thermostat 4 - Radiator 5 - Heat exchanger, heating 6 - Oil-to-water heat exchanger 7 - ATF heat exchanger (Tiptronic only) 8 - Electric shut-off valve (Tiptronic only) 9 - Expansion tank 10 - Shut-off valve 11 - Venting line (engine) 12 - Venting line (radiator) 13 - Oil separator 14 - Radiator (Tiptronic only)
  17. CDC - 4 This is a MOST fiber optic component so you will need cables and may need to have some one configure it to the car.
  18. Item 14? If so, then what color please?
  19. The hardtop is aluminum - so any good body shop/dent repair that works with fiberglass should be able to repair it. If the rubber piece is just loose and not damaged it can likely be re-attached with 3M trim adhesive. If the rubber piece is damaged it should be replaced.
  20. Uses the author just makes the search faster and more accurate.
  21. You need to search for "drains" and author "Loren" - I've posted this and referenced it many times. http://www.renntech....dpost__p__51230
