  1. :welcome: P0103 Mass Air Flow Sensor - Above Limit Possible fault cause - Intake air system on pressure side (between turbocharger and engine) leaks - Short circuit to B+ - Mass air flow sensor faulty - Throttle jacking unit faulty It is safe to drive the car as long as the CEL is NOT flashing.
  2. Just to clarify - the enabling code comes from Porsche (to the dealer) once they provide proof that you have paid for the upgrade.
  3. 66Y would be a MY2000 Carrera engine if the first code was M96.04. The original poster says his first code is M96.21 which is a Boxster S engine code.
  4. Is this a Boxster - if so you posted in the Carrera section. M96.21 67Y is a Model Year 2000 Boxster S engine. 3.2 liter 252 HP.
  5. Damaged piston seal on one of the calipers? Might be good to check them - a little work but you really really do need to have brakes. ;)
  6. The one in the armrest? If so what interior color?
  7. Yes, good point. Gert can likely get those even though they are not on his website. Try emailing gert@carnewal.com
  8. Try Pelican Parts or Performance Products - you can Google them.
  9. Unless someone like Palo Alto Speedometer can repair it - you would need a new cluster.
  10. It is a simple circuit. The Green/Red wire goes from the switch to B5 on the instrument cluster. The Green/White wire goes from the switch to A13 on the instrument cluster. That is all there is -- so either the sensor is bad (or the chassis/engine ground is loose - but I would think you would see other problems with that) or the wiring is damaged or the cluster connector(s) are loose (not seated) or worst case the cluster is bad.
  11. :welcome: Please do not post in ALL CAPS - on the Internet that is SHOUTING! Can you please give us the model year of your car and sound system option number - so we know which sound system it is wired for? Thanks.
  12. Please post this in the proper thread. Please read this and follow the instructions... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST I will only answer radio code requests in the one thread linked at the end of the FAQ. This thread is now closed.
  13. And the exact model and year of your car is?
  14. Then those center caps should have two holes in them. I use a old VW hub cap puller that is essentially a thick wire bent so that you hook it behind the cap (through the hole) and pull. If your center caps have no holes then you might have to take the wheels off.
  15. Almost all German cars run about 5 MPH fast. Most think it is the designers trying to "protect us". There are several threads on this already - please do a search. And, no it is not easily corrected.
  16. That is not a sensor that is the ballast resistor. You will find a DIY Tutorial for replacing it here
  17. I suggest you call one of the wheel refurb companies like Wheel Enhancement. I sure they do this all the time. Let us know what they say...
  18. That would depend on the wheels - you need to tell us exactly which wheels.
  19. Try 4996 or 4994 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  20. Try 0891 or 0889 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  21. Control Unit Front End - many times problems with this unit can be fixed by having the dealer re-program it with their PIWIS tester.
  22. If you can scan the car with Durametric, PST2 or a PIWIS tester they will likely tell you which switch has failed and give you a good starting point.
  23. 996.512.551.03 Gas pressure spring -- US MSRP $45.27
