  1. One beep says that one or more alarm zone is open. Two beeps says there is an alarm fault. Have you gotten any water in the car recently? Especially under the driver seat (where the alarm control box is).
  2. The parts list does not show any screws holding them in (like the earlier Cayennes) - so I would see if it snaps into place from the wheel well side.
  3. All the listings I see for MY2010 are painted. MY09 and older have the satin black finish.
  4. Pads? rotors? ??? Sorry, I am not sure what you are asking. Also, please tell us the exact model and year of your car.
  5. We have updated the Lost Radio Code FAQ to now include the Porsche/Becker Traffic Pro. If you have a Traffic Pro and would like to test it - please read the FAQ to see how to display the serial number so you can submit it in the Lost Radio Code thread. We would like to a few if you have the time. Special thanks to Member Bruce2010 for his help in adding Traffic Pro and his help on this huge thread (and free service). You can find the updated Lost Radio Code FAQ here.
  6. I think you found your cause... :clapping:
  7. Paul, There is a rubber/plastic portion that is mounted at the bottom edge of these side skirts and that is what I think the original poster is after.
  8. No, it should not go into limp mode. If the CEL is flashing the car should not be driven (or run) - driving with a flashing CEL can damage the catalytic converters. If the fault is recorded in the DME in can in most cases also b e cleared if the fault does not re-occur or the conditions that caused the fault do not continue. It would appear that you have an intermittent connection or sensor.
  9. Your pollen filter is under the front hood and removing the plastic panel. Very east to replace - part number 997.571.219.01
  10. P0160 Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter, open circuit Possible fault causes - Fault in the oxygen sensor heater, if this exists, is to be taken care of first - Loose contact or corrosion in the connector - Open circuit in the signal leads - Open circuit in ground lead - Oxygen sensor faulty - DME control module faulty
  11. I would not try and seal a hydraulic system (especially brakes) with any sealant. For your safety any leaking parts should be replaced.
  12. 1. Porsche only sells the whole seat belt buckle. Item 15 -- 955.803.054.00.HCP Rear seat belt buckle (black( -- US MSRP $27.27 2. Left of right side? 3. 955.504.441.01.01C Cover read satin black -- US MSRP $24.88 (for V8 Cayenne) 955.504.445.00.01C Cover read satin black -- US MSRP $28.58 (for V6 Cayenne)
  13. Suncoast is NOT a sponsor here. Sunset Imports (in Portland Oregon) is a contributing supporter of this site.
  14. Check for water or moisture damage to the brake booster.
  15. No he is saying it is equal to Techron. But let's face it Porsche does not "make" fuel additives they just re-brand someone else's that meets their spec.
  16. :welcome: What car are you trying to fit them on - because the part number changed in MY10. MY07 to 09 is one part number and MY10 is a different number - so the MY10 part may not fit older cars.
  17. The ATE Blue will stain/dye the lines and after a little time all the lines and tank will be blue. I just use ATE Gold and look for clean brake fluid. Oh and just in case you did not know ATE Blue and ATE Gold are the same stuff - the Blue just has dye in it.
  18. The regulator can still be remove and replaced without changing out the whole alternator. Do a search here - this has been covered.
  19. Lift the wheel on one side at a time - rotate the wheel slowly forward then back - listen for the click and feel for loose CV bearings.
  20. Check the CV joints first.
  21. Model and year of your car please?
  22. Yes, sorry I should have mentioned that. This feature is kind like having a private forum - with invitees only.
  23. Without the fault codes everything is a guess. Fault codes tell us exact what the DME thinks is going on,
  24. Yes, Contributing Members can add up to 6 others into a Personal Conversation. (Sorry, this feature is only available to Contributing Members). Look on the left side of your Personal Message for the Add button.
  25. :welcome: Please tell all of your exact fault codes.
