  1. Yes. That is how Porsche does it. The lighter is active 12vdc all the time.
  2. RMG ENTERPRISES 960 W. El Camino Real (in back alley) Sunnyvale, CA 94087 (408) 738-2060
  3. For drag racing or track use?
  4. Not dead yet... Here are all the replaceable parts and the shifter alignment tool.
  5. Perhaps the housing came loose and now the cables are misaligned? Do you still have the cable alignment tool that came with the shifter?
  6. This car could end up being a lot of work. Flood or fire cars will have corrosion issues ongoing - likely for the rest of their life. I did one fire damaged car (dash fire) and we replaced the complete wiring harness before the car was reliable again. About 45 hours work.
  7. Motors are the same through MY2010... seat parts not so much. I think you can safely use seats from MY2004 through MY2006 as plug n play. MY2003 had some early seats that changed in MY2004. MY2007-MY2010 might work - but someone will need to try.
  8. You might as well do the RMS (rear main seal - crankshaft) while you are there. Not so sure about the "under drive pulley" I would inspect the water pump for broken or cracked blades - replace as needed. I would inspect all the pulleys and tensioners on the serpentine belt - replace if you find any wobble. Of course new oil and fuel filters. Inspect the coolant tank for cracks or leaks.
  9. Try this... "Put the key in the ignition. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Turn the key to position 1. Then turn the key to the off position. Then hook up the battery cable. The display should be back to normal. You may have to twist the knob to change between US and metric miles."
  10. It is always best to give the exact model and year of your car...
  11. B10001B - Driver's airbag Possible fault causes: - Coding Ignition circuit is connected and OK, but is not coded. - Electrical fault in circuit Electrical connection between two ignition circuits (mutual short circuit). Short circuit in wiring harness of two ignition circuits - Short circuit to B+/ground/between lines or open circuit in the lines - Limit exceeded This fault is recognized if the angle measured between >control unit and igniter< deviates from the specified value. - Below limit This fault is recognized if the angle measured between >control unit and igniter< deviates from the specified value. - Deactivated The ignition circuit is deactivated, because the wear/age limit was reached. - A triggering event (accident or similar) has occurred.
