  1. 4745 should work if that is the correct serial number. Did you get that serial number using the method in the Lost Radio Code FAQ? If not, please do so. If you did then chances are that your radio has been repaired by someone other than Becker. If that is the case I can not help you. Sorry.
  2. Two likely sources are the headlight switch and the ignition switch. Try wiggling the headlight switch - if you get strange light responses then replace it.
  3. To add to what JFP has already said - you may need to run the convertible top calibration. It takes about 3 or 4 minutes and can be done with a Porsche PIWIS or Durametric software.
  4. The only known solution that I am aware of is a repair by Becker Sound or replacing the radio. Sorry.
  5. Then perhaps it has failed. The get serial number procedure always gives the correct serial number regardless of what the sticker on the radio says. When that method is used the code I give you always works. The only time the code does not work (that we've seen) is after a 3rd party repair. I am sorry I don't have a better solution for you.
  6. If that is the correct serial number (per the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ) then it is likely that radio has been repaired by some 3rd party other than Becker. If that is the case I can not help you.
  7. Try 0932 From the Lost Radio Code FAQ... "I get a WAIT on the display - what do I do? You have to wait at least 30 minutes before trying again."
  8. I do not see one for the 993 in the current PET. It may be that Porsche decides to only sell sub-assemblies going forward. The early 996 had connector part numbers in the early wiring diagrams but then removed them in 2002 model year.
  9. The code I got was 4906 - which you said did not work.
  10. If the code I gave you does not work then you need to get Becker to unlock the radio or replace the radio.
  11. Can you give me item numbers for the parts you need?
