  1. Yes, I am saying small diameter hose (will take longer) and a lot of fishing around to get to the saddle bag portion.
  2. C4/C4S have a "saddle bag" gas tank - that is part is on each side of the front differential.
  3. :welcome: 900 631 017 90 Rear fog light bulb -- US MSRP $9.20
  4. 986 613 134 00 is the switch for the rear window defroster.
  5. The factory switch is 4 wires. You are likely going to need a wiring diagram for the switch you bought.
  6. If you look on the bottom of the switch there are 5 connections - A1 through A5. Tell me what color wire goes to each connector and I will tell you where they go. A2 is not used.
  7. If this is a US market car PM me your VIN and I will look it up.
  8. Please do a search here - there have been some pretty nice looking (and performing) 3rd party NAV updates.
  9. Possible yes - practical no. You would need a lot of expensive parts to do that. Most opt for a 3rd party NAV system that is better supported and more "state of the art".
  10. DId you look for the sticker under the front hood or in the maintenance book?
  11. Please check your options list - most of those PCM manuals can be purchased from a dealer for $5 each. In some cases they may have to order them.
  12. Does your car have option I666?
  13. Yes, but your fit will vary with tires - different manufacturers tires may be wide enough to interfere with the fender or strut (on the rears). No way to know unless you test fit or know someone with the same tire/wheel combination. Many tires are likely fine but you could find one brand or two that will cause issues.
  14. I can't wrap my head around how to remove the muffler. I will be doing my plugs and coils this weekend. (had the PO306 code thrown) hope it's just the coils and plugs.. #6 that i could see with the wheel off looked pretty rough, part of the plastic came off in my hand. Is there a good muffler removal tutorial? Pretty much the reverse of this DIY Tutorial... http://www.renntech.org/forums/tutorials/article/84-pse-porsche-sport-exhaust-install/
  15. :welcome: The PCM 3 Owners Manual is here in our Owners Manual secion.
  16. You only need to bleed the PSM if any of the brake, or PSM lines, or PSM control units were replaced. Or if you are switching to say a purely synthetic brake fluid from the Porsche standard brake fluid. Durametric will also allow you bleed the PSM on most models.
  17. :welcome: What year and model car please? How old is your battery? Have you had it load tested as as specific gravity tested? A weak battery can cause all kinds of strange electrical problems in Cayennes (and actually most of the (2005 on) newer cars).
  18. Looking at the parts list it would appear that the dash control, wiring harness and most of the under dash blower housing/heat exchanger. The blower housing looks to have different damper controls on the auto system (from what I have seen) as well as an additional sensor or two. The rest of the system looks the same. I suspect the new dash control and would need programming with a PIWIS. Lots of under dash work - I suspect 4-6 hours plus parts and programming time. That's my best guess... :sunset:
  19. RHD 04 Boxster airbag control unit (click to enlarge)
  20. Is your check engine light flashing? If yes, then you should not drive the car until the problem is fixed. Continuing to drive the car with a flashing CEL WILL damage the catalytic converters.
  21. :welcome: Thee are fauly codes (diagnostic codes) that should tell you exactly what is wrong with your airbag circuit. You will need a special tool to read these diagnostic codes: Durametric Software or a Porsche PIWIS tester. You should find someone (or a shop) with one of tools and report back the fault code(s) here.
  22. Of course you know neither of those are approved transmission oils for the 996 gearbox or 4WD. We have seen many many problems when not using the Porsche specified oils in these transmissions - so I highly recommend you use the Porsche approved oils. Here is the TSB... http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?app=downloads&module=display&section=download&do=confirm_download&id=1466
  23. Do you have the latest Durametric software? 6.3.2.5 is the latest I think.
