  1. ? I am confused - that is not a serial number that is the model code. Please follow the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ and re-post the correct serial number.
  2. I just use a (gloved) finger to push it open and hold it (ignition off). That has always worked for me.
  3. 955 624 773 02 Actuator -- US MSRP $30.94
  4. The CU Gateway is in the left footwell
  5. The hydraulic system return pump is being actuated. Here is the procedure: - Preliminary work: Bleed brakes as usual - To bleed the ABD circuit, the bleeding device remains connected (switched on). Bleed pressure approximately 1.5...2.0 bar. - Connect the Porsche System Tester 2 to the diagnostic socket. (Durametric in your case) - Open the rear right bleeder valve (use collecting bottle). - Press the Start button on the System Tester. This initiates certain functions in the hydraulic control unit (return pump, switch-off and switch-over valves are actuated). - Bleed until clear, bubble-free brake fluid emerges. In addition (throughout bleeding operation) fully depress (pump) brake pedal as far as the stop at least ten times. Caution: In vehicles with high mileage or in old vehicles, double the pumping cycles and use only half the brake master cylinder stroke (damage to the brake master cylinder could result / primary boot damage). - Close the right rear bleeder valve. Then immediately press Stop button on the System Tester. - Switch ignition off and disconnect System Tester. - Switch off and disconnect bleeder device. - Correct brake fluid level if necessary. To reiterate you really only need to do this procedure if the brake system has been opened (i.e. new lines), components have been replaced (i.e. ABS pump), or you are changing from or to synthetic brake fluid.
  6. If you look at the wiring diagram (CU Gateway) - that is where it goes.
  7. That Orange/Blue wire connects to the CU Gateway.A3 (sheet 7) of the diagnostic socket.
  8. Sorry, no aftermarket on these and you wouldn't want someone else making else making Porsche keys.
  9. :welcome: You will need to get the transponder (pill) programmed on your new key(s). At least one hour labor I'd say. Also they will need all existing keys to do the programming (so they can delete the missing one).
  10. ... not sure what he wants then...
  11. Like this? (click to enlarge)
  12. It should be on the right side - unless a previous owner moved it.
  13. Yesterday about 1 pm (PDT) RennTech.org experienced a major server hardware failure. It was determined at that time to replace the server with a new server. The server was replaced all new hardware -- and back up and running in less than one hour! I want to thank the folks at Exact Servers for the outstanding speed and thoroughness in getting the site back up in such a short time. :thankyou: This is part of what we pay for here with your contributions - so thank you to all of our Contributors as well! :thankyou:
  14. There is a place for posting classified ads. Please use it.
  15. 8016 is a re-used code depending on the sub-system. Still... it has the same meaning - that there is no communication/feedback with the device. Have you tried removing the mirror and measuring the resistance across the heating element - it may likely be open (infinite resistance). Or it could be as simple as a bad or broken connection.
  16. (Porsche Fault 23) P0159 -- Aging of Oxygen Sensor After Catalytic Converter (Cylinders 4 - 6)
  17. 8016 External BOSE amplifier -- Malfunction in right door speaker - Wiring harness/loudspeaker for right door speaker faulty - External BOSE amplifier output stage faulty
  18. 179 HP according to Porsche (click to enlarge)
