  1. :welcome: Start by having a look at the DIY Tutorial here
  2. Sorry, but I would walk away then. You are talking 15 minutes on 101 (right time of day).
  3. :welcome: RMG is good. Also Sharkwerks. BTW... you get to choose or no sale when it comes to a PPI.
  4. Normal. Signs of moisture in you engine/oil - normally if your engine get up to operating temperature most of this burns off.
  5. Please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ
  6. Does your car have option I575 Luggage Compartment Cooling System?
  7. For the coolant system the manual recommends 18.85 PSI. For the cap: 1. The pressure relief valve opens at an excess pressure of approx. 20.3 PSI; the pressure then slowly decreases again, and the valve closes at 14.5 PSI. If the pressure decreases further, replace the cap. 2. If the test pressure of step 1 is maintained, test step 2. Apply excess pressure to the pressure relief valve of step 1 by pumping rapidly. The pressure relief valve of step 2 must open at an excess pressure of approx 26 PSI. If the valve does not open, replace the cap.
  8. P1132 Oxygen sensing adaptation Possible cause of fault - Incorrect main charge signal - Fuel pressure too low - Fuel injector doesn't open completely - DME control module faulty P2228 Ambient Air Pressure Sensor - Below Limit Possible fault cause - DME control module faulty The P2228 is pretty odd - if you clear it does it come back? Were the ignition/injector wires damaged? Worst case put a PIWIS on it and run full diagnostics.
  9. :welcome: It would be helpful if you told us the exact model and year of your car.
  10. I do not see a quick start guide for any GT2 series car - that is likely because the yearly build of GT2's was only a few hundred cars. The 997 turbo book for the same model year should be pretty close though.
  11. The safe bet is to always add half a quart - then recheck it.
  12. P0507 is almost always either a sticking throttle valve or intake air leak. Even though you have no idle control valve you still need to clean the throttle body, the throttle butterfly - both font and back side. Use a good spray carb cleaner for this. Also use some electrical contact cleaner on the throttle electrical connectors. Remove them and clean the contacts on both the plug and socket. Finally make sure that the rubber intake boot is properly and securely fastened. If you still have the problem after that you will likely need a shop with a smoke machine to look for intake air leaks.
  13. P1341 (Porsche code 174) Camshaft Adjustment, Bank 1 – Below Limit, Above Limit, or Signal Implausible Possible causes: - Short to ground - Actuator faulty - Open circuit in triggering wire - Open circuit in B+ supply - Actuator faulty
  14. If someone quoted you $250 for the Porsche water pump - then they are over MSRP. MSRP for the Porsche water pump is $239.44.
  15. There is a little motor inside the actuator - the control unit comfort systems rear controls both actions. You will likely need to put a PIWIS diagnostic tool on the car and see if there are any fault codes. I think it also has a test mode where you can toggle that actuator back and forth. If everything tests okay then they should likely try a clear and re-program of the control module.
