  1. I sent you a PM.
  2. The key and car MUST be programmed together with either a Porsche PST2 or PIWIS. You will need the car's IPAS codes also to do this -- as well as a tech that knows what he/she is doing..
  3. Did you have the car with you when the key was replaced? -- that is required. It does not sound like it was programmed properly.
  4. Us/Canada car or RoW?
  5. Check wiring from alarm control module to door lock for short circuit to ground. 1. Switch off the ignition 2. Pull plug A off the control module. 3. Measure resistance between plug A on control module pin 5 and ground. - Measure resistance between plug A pin 28 and ground. In both cases they should measure infinite ohms. If not you will need to repair a damaged harness (or plug). Check wiring from the system control module for short circuit to B+. 1. Switch on ignition. 2. Measure voltage between plug A oon control module pin 5 and ground. 3. Measure voltage between plug A on control module pin 28 and ground. In both cases they should measure 0 volts. If not you will need to repair a damaged harness (or plug). Check wiring from control module to door lock for open circuit. 1. Switch off the ignition. 2. Measure resistance between plug A on control module pin 5 and pin 7 of plug on left door lock. - Measure resistance between plug A on control module pin 28 and pin 7 of plug on right door lock. In both cases they should measure less than 5 ohms. If not you will need to repair a damaged harness (or plug). Check wire from the central locking switch to the control module for open circuit. 1. Pull plug off central locking switch. 2. Measure resistance between plug on central locking switch pin Al and pin 29 of control module plug A. In both cases they should measure less than 5 ohms. If not you will need to repair a damaged harness (or plug).
  6. (in English for those that nicht spreche deutsch) 1 Doors secured and terminal 15 on -- Fault entry 43 Passenger-side release stuck -- Central locking not possible 44 Driver-side release stuck -- Central locking not possible 61 Central locking limit position Central locking not possible -- Unlocked not reached Both doors with a stuck latch at the same time? Seems very unlikely to me... Have you checked for shorts or open grounds with an ohm meter?
  7. Jacking by the engine (or oil pan) is NOT recommended) as you put a lot of stress ont he engine mounts that way. I have not seen anything official from Porsche on this yet. There is an engine cross member/engine carrier that I would use - that way you are lifting by the chassis not the engine (mounts).
  8. The DME for the Cab is behind a panel under the rear window/top. You will need to put the top in service position. The arrow in the last photo is pointing to the cab top control module - the DME is the silver box at the far right.
  9. The only way we could confirm is to look up your car's option by VIN. If you want to do this then please PM me your VIN.
  10. Most people use the "View New Content" link to see what is the newest unread content - so no need to post twice. Yes, the sport exhaust (PSE) switch is the same too.
  11. The central locking switch seems to be the same. (Your double post has been removed ... please re-read the forum Guidelines/Rules "Please post your messages in one forum only. Crossposting, double posting, triple posting, etc. are all a waste of time and valuable resources. If you post the same message in multiple times or in multiple forums, we will delete the ones we feel are inappropriate.")
  12. Item 5 is a clip that is used many places: 955-559-719-00 Clip -- US MSRP $0.49 each Item 6 is a grommet 955-559-586-00 Grommet -- US MSRP $0.72 each
  13. There are ground points at each rear taillight housing.
  14. The switch has labels on it (A1 and A2). A1 goes to black/blue wire. A2 goes to black/red wire.
  15. The latest rev I see is for V8 engines: 948-602-104-20 (as of 12-31-2013). The latest rev I see is for V6 engines 955-602-101-05 (as of 12-31-2013).
  16. The coil packs have been a problem for quite a while - be sure you replace them with the latest version.
  17. P0455 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (large leak) Possible cause of fault - Tank cap not tightened correctly, faulty or missing - Mechanical fault in EVAP canister purge valve (does not close fully) - Leakage diagnosis pump leaking internally (membrane) or externally - Mechanical fault in EVAP canister shutoff valve (does not close fully when power is supplied) - EVAP canister shutoff valve connections leaking - Tank system (including pipes) leaking
  18. Power comes through the rear control unit - so other things would not likely work if the fuse were blown. Check for a good chassis ground at the lights - these are know issues on the early Cayennes'.
  19. Based on the location and the spliced and cut wire I agree with Creekman - likely an after market stereo system that has since been removed.
  20. As a Contributing Member you can about the "Non-return fuel flow supply system" that was introduced in MY2002 here.
  21. Are you sure the mufflers are stock? You can check them for part numbers and the Porsche logo.
