  1. Did you use the Lost Radio Code FAQ procedure to get your serial number?
  2. Sorry, but that number comes back as an "invalid serial number".
  3. Second time I have replied to this! Please double check your serial number using the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ
  4. It sounds to me like you have a current draw. Any good tech should be able to narrow down the source of the draw by putting an amp meter in series (engine off) and removing fuses until the large draw is gone. The last fuse would be the circuit with the draw. From that point you just continue eliminating possible causes on that circuit (including poor grounds). This is some very basic electronic/electronic troubleshooting - perhaps you should find another shop/tech.
  5. Please double check your serial number using the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ
  6. Please read this... Lost Radio Code FAQ
  7. May I suggest hi-temperature anti-seize.
  8. If you give me the exact model and year of your car (item number would help also) I will look it up -- most of these are very low cost even from Porsche (under $3 each).
  9. Manual AC Fault 8023 -- Re-circulation flap motor Possible fault causes: - Short circuit to B+/ground or open circuit in the lines - Re-circulation flap motor faulty - Air conditioning regulator faulty or Automatic AC Fault 8023 -- Ram air/ re-circulation flap motor Possible fault causes: - Ram air/re-circulation flap sluggish or blocked - Servo drive for the ram air/ re-circulation flap faulty - Short circuit to B+/ground or open circuit in the lines - Ram air/re-circulation flap motor not taught or taught incorrectly - Ram air/re-circulation flap motor faulty - Air conditioning regulator faulty
  10. I do not see why you can not go through the wheel well. If you remove the wheel and the wheel well liner you should have plenty of access to the back of the radiator mounting.
  11. Header 19 flb.is correct. Cats and O2 sensors (using the proper tool) are 34 ftlb.
  12. The only radios we support are listed in the Lost Radio Code FAQ. If your radio is not listed there we can not help you.
  13. You are making the assumption that it was properly assembled in the first place. If you can not see anything obvious then you will likely have to remove and inspect the pieces - sorry.
  14. Hmm... It sound like something is not right and this might require some dis-assembly and measuring. Things that come to mind are: - a coil that is not properly seated - a mismatched set of compensation plates (one side larger than the other - which might also imply mis-matched springs) - a missing or wrong size bump stop
  15. You already have a topic open for this - please re-read the board Guidelines/Rules that you agreed to when you registered here. "Please post your messages in one forum only. Crossposting, double posting, triple posting, etc. are all a waste of time and valuable resources. If you post the same message in multiple times or in multiple forums, we will delete the ones we feel are inappropriate." This duplicate topic is now closed.
  16. There should be a color code on the sticker under the front bonnet. Report that back here and we can look it up for you.
