  1. DOT 4 should be good as long as you do a good flush and bleed.
  2. Please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ for a list radios we can decode. "Can you give me a code for my PCM? These units are manufactured jointly by Siemens and Becker, and the only place where you can get the codes required is from the dealer/OPC. The PCM’s require two codes, the ICS/Siemens code and a Becker code. The ICS is the first code requested. Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM code is from a dealer/OPC."
  3. In past models there were never any instructions in a WSM. If you are lucky there might be a TSB with instructions -- but I just checked and not currently. Take a photos of the parts and their part numbers and post them here. We can then likely advise as to what replaces what.
  4. Unless you mis-typed the serial number the code should be 7216. If not then sorry.
  5. Try 7216 Loren, I tried 7216 as well as 7214 and 7218. any other suggestions? Did you follow the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ?
  6. GC-FID I feel my past catching up with me...
  7. No - they are completely different engines.
  8. Please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ for a list radios we can decode.
  9. 999 507 505 40 Grey clip -- US MSRP $0.44 each (4 per door) or 999 507 582 40 White clip -- US MSRP $0.44 each (4 per door)
  10. I think it must be Boxster Red as no other colors come close. Sunlight and moist can cause all kinds of changes so I think you will see variations. MY99 Boxster carpet colors (click to enlarge)
  11. Model year 2000? Ignition switch checked - they are poor and do wear out? You really should find a shop with at least Durametric if not Porsche diagnostic tools (IMHO).
  12. Yes, the clips are inexpensive and likely should be replaced each time the panel is removed.
  13. Check the chassis grounds for poor/corroded connections.
  14. Sorry, that is not true. Many of the early (2003-2004) Cayennes came with two batteries. Later it became an option.
  15. Yes, the DME and relays are under then aluminum plate behind the rear seats.
