  1. I saw your car in the Registry photos and that gauge cluster is white - so either that was ordered as an option or someone changed the faces. If they changed the faces then there is a chance that they did not get that voltage needle back on in the correct position. The fix would require removing the cluster - opening it up and re-setting the needle position. A bit of a delicate job... but it can be done - and it might be a bit of trial and error to get it correct with the actual voltage.
  2. As stated above - you need a new battery.
  3. Did you see this thread... http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic/47205-hinge-broken-on-the-rear-cigarette-lighter-cover/
  4. 996 641 215 05 70C is actually a Canadian cluster on the US/Canada price list and the it also shows as a RoW cluster on the RoW price list. So it may be able to be programmed for your needs with a PST2 or PIWIS tester.
  5. Do both cars have the same transmission? If so, it will likely work
  6. Both plug into the DME.
  7. Yes, the pulse senders are identical (2 per car).
  8. I sent you a PM.
  9. No, they are different. There is a pump ofr MY99 and older - and a different pump for MY00 and newer.
  10. Sorry, but I do not see a PSE (Porsche SPort Exhaust) option for the 2012 997.2 Turbo.
  11. I doubt there is anything wrong with your engine compartment purge fan. The engine compartment purge fan rarely comes on. Mine has only come on twice -- and I live in 90 plus degree California! Here are the conditions the fan comes on at. From the service manual... "Switch-on conditions for engine compartment fan (this fan pulls air into the engine compartment) The engine compartment fan is switched on when the engine compartment temperature is > 176 degrees F or the coolant temperature is > 216 degrees F. After-running of engine compartment fan If the ignition is switched off and the engine compartment temperature is more than 140 degrees F, the DME control module remains in readiness for another 20 minutes. During this time, the engine compartment temperature is retrieved every 10 seconds. If the engine compartment temperature is > 185 degrees F , the engine compartment fan is switched on for 20 seconds. If the engine compartment temperature is still > 185 degrees F after this time, the fan remains on for a further 30 seconds."
  12. Those 997.2 Turbo wiring diagrams only exist in PIWIS and PIWIS 2 - and they are not really printable. There is a "DME engine" and "DME vehicle" diagram as well as a "Rear" wiring diagram. Perhaps if you told us what you are after we can find something that will help?
  13. Tank Cover ground = Brown/Brown wire Tank Cover power (shared unswitched +12 volts) = Red/White and is fused at F6 (click to enlarge) Check the fuse first (with an ohm meter out of the circuit). If +12 VDC across the solenoid does not actuate it then it is either jammed in the mount or bad (even if new).
