  1. Is that the engine number on the engine case? If so, then it is likely a rebuilt from another (earlier) case - nothing wrong with that but without further images or even some internal examination it could have rebuilt as almost anything (from 1970 -1980's vintage).
  2. Left side marker would be on the left side of the car as you sit in the drivers seat - so drivers side. It could be the night marker light or the left turn signal light that is not lighting.
  3. Did you check fuse E1? Check for pinched wire(s) at the airbag or trigger control box.
  4. JFP in PA is correct about the electrical glitch. Many 997-1 cars needed to have their front (lights) control module re-programmed (with a PIWIS tester) because of similar issues. I would start there.
  5. I do not think so. Seems as the cars aged the demand went way down so they stopped making them. You can PM Flagman and see if he still has any.
  6. Likely C3 (15 A) for interior lights. Door lights are also controlled by Central Locking.
  7. wyovino is asking if anyone has taken it out the top - if you have not then why reply. Take this down a notch -- and provide constructive help or don't reply. If this gets any more off topic and personal - there will be site privileges consequences (i.e. suspension or banning).
  8. Are you using TapaTalk? This is a TapaTalk bug that has been reported but not fixed yet. Leave TapaTalk and use a web browser and everything will work fine.
  9. Did you see the DIY in the above post? http://www.renntech.org/forums/tutorials/article/335-aftermarket-reverse-camera-to-replace-stock-camera/
  10. From the TSB... "After existing supplies of the previous parts have been used up, the new parts can be used as replacements for all Boxster engine types M96.20, M 96.22, and M96.21." Of course all of Contributing Members would know that as they can read the TSB here online. (hint - hint)
  11. This forum software treats all links the same. The first three links in your message above are all exactly the same structure and do the exact same in any browser I have tried. There is no special setting for how TapaTalk handles links - no on the forum side only in TapaTalk's source code. This IS a TapaTalk problem and if they do not fix it then I will remove TapaTalk as an option on this site.
