  1. I think you need to hook up to 12 volts and ground.
  2. You can disconnect the MAF and let the car idle. If with the MAF disconnected it idles poorly then the problem is elsewhere - most common are intake or exhaust leaks.
  3. If you would have read the Lost Radio Code - FAQ -- Read This FIRST then you would have read... "Can you give me a code for my PCM? These units are manufactured jointly by Siemens and Becker, and the only place where you can get the codes required is from the dealer/OPC. The PCM’s require two codes, the ICS/Siemens code and a Becker code. The ICS is the first code requested. Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM code is from a dealer/OPC."
  4. Is this a Porsche Traffic Pro? If not, I can not help you. Sorry. Yes it's in a 996 C4S. Porsche branded unit. For Traffic Pro with 6 presets try 42325
  5. Is this a Porsche Traffic Pro? If not, I can not help you. Sorry.
  6. Sorry, I can not do anything about the missing images - the original poster had linked to offsite images that are no longer available.
  7. :welcome: It would be helpful if you told us the exact model and year of the car. Also, when was the transmission fluid changed last? and, did they use Porsche recommended transmission oil? Any short shifters installed or undercarriage damage?
  8. :welcome: PM me your VIN and I will check the car's options and let you know.
  9. 996 612 951 00 Repair Kit Wiring Harness - Front Left -- US MSRP $98.87 996 612 952 00 Repair Kit Wiring Harness - Front Right -- US MSRP $98.87
  10. I have much fewer problems with that site if I use Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser. It worked when I tried just now but I have had an account for years.
  11. Sorry, but you are just guessing - and that an get expensive very quickly. You need to put a Porsche diagnostic tool on the car.
  12. The Tiptronic is microprocessor controlled so there is not "two wires" combination for neutral. You possibly could switch the correct two solenoids for neutral and the correct EPCV signal but you risk blowing the Tiptronic control unit. IMHO -- If you really think it is that switch then get a used one from a salvage yard and try it. At least you do not risk blowing up a very expensive control module.
  13. I doubt that - but I guess you won't know until you try.
