  1. Thanks - that is great information. I am posting a copy here in case that link goes away or their site is down. mods4cars product manual.pdf
  2. Or control unit for the transfer box ? That is on the transfer box.
  3. Transfer gear control unit or the control unit for rear differential lock? I find the later -control unit for rear differential lock but not the former -- unless they are the same box.
  4. Sorry, no they never got back to me. I was an early adopter...
  5. No lights? - check the fuses. Otherwise look for loose (or taped) wiring. Beyond that you will like need Durametric or PIWIS tester.
  6. You can try re-programming but that would be an unusual cure in this case. Chances are your control module or triggering unit. Have you installed aftermarket radio/nav where perhaps a wire was pinched?
  7. I don't think the passenger airbag has a switch only the crash sensor and control box.
  8. Item 17 -- 955 505 550 61 Plastic Foam Strip -- US MSRP $105.87 Item 15 -- 955 505 915 00 Cover -- US MSRP $133.36
  9. Iten 17 or item 15?
  10. Nope just plastic clips - which may break. (999 507 685 01).
  11. Can you make an arrow pointing to the part?
  12. From the service manual... Fault code 1228 Airbag switch (activate/deactivate passengers' airbag) Possible cause of fault Short circuit to ground (based on the wiring of pin 81 of airbag triggering unit and pin 2 of airbag switch) Open circuit/short circuit to B+ (based on the wiring of pin 81 of airbag triggering unit and pin 2 of airbag switch) Faulty (airbag switch is faulty) Airbag triggering unit incorrectly coded when locked Triggering unit for airbag faulty
  13. This is your fourth request for a radio serial number - please consider a donation to help keep this site running. Try 9632
  14. From the service manual. Press temperature sensor -10- into the inlet grille. So, if this is not working then you may have a damaged sensor or the holder in the bumper maybe damaged.
