  1. Is that a Becker Mexico Pro? If so how many preset buttons? No guarantees even with that... Yes, it is.. Becker Mexican Pro CD. what do you mean by preset buttons? To get you a code I need to know how many (physical) radio station pre-set buttons it has.

  3. 4298 is the correct code for that serial number. Did you use the Lost Radio Code FAQ procedure to get your serial number? If not, please do so. If you did then sorry I can not help you.
  4. Only C4S has a different muffler. Stick with MY2002 or newer C2 or C4 and you should be fine. 996 111 131 69 Right Muffler -- US MSRP $1449.62 996 111 132 69 Left Muffler -- US MSRP $1654.51 (I do not know why they are different prices - odd though) I would be very careful with aftermarket mufflers - many reports of terrible dronning caused by resonance. Ask around and drive or ride in a car with the 3rd party muffler first - that's my recommendation.
  5. This is a different serial number than you posted yesterday. For this serial number try 9583
  6. The newer style switch came out in November 2003 - so yes your car should already have the newer design. I have seen very few of those fail. Like all cars ignition switches I think it best to minimize the amount of weight on you have on the key/key chain. A bunch of keys hanging on your key seems to add additional stress on both the lock and electrical part sometimes causing premature failures.
  7. I do not think just the electrical switch will help him much - he needs a new lock and switch.
  8. There is a DIY for the ignition switch lock assembly here. Once you upgrade to the newer style switch you will not likely have any further problems.
  9. :welcome: Your problem is more likely a worn out window regulator. The regulator is a cable that operates the window up and down. Do a search here as replacement has been covered many times.
  10. P2403 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump Sense Circuit/Open Possible cause of fault - EVAP canister purge valve stuck in closed position - Purge air line between EVAP canister purge valve and active charcoal filter blocked - Open circuit in signal line - Short circuit to ground in signal line - Leakage diagnosis pump faulty (diaphragm or reed switch stuck, solenoid valve stays open) - DME control module faulty
  11. Exact model and year of your car please?
  12. I need the exact model of your radio (as it says on the front panel of the radio). Did you read the Lost Radio Code FAQ first?
  13. If you bought a knock-off cable instead of the real Durametric cable you will not likely get much sympathy here. Durametric is the only company that has a reasonably priced Porsche diagnostic tool that works. Many people (and shops) here rely on it daily. Perhaps one of the best investments you can make for your Porsche.
  14. The only thing that should be different (according to the Porsche parts list) is vent line (item 2 on the bottom) and the support on top is slightly different but attaches the same way. The outer lid lid design changed but again is functionally the same. The photos above the diagram are from a C4S.
  15. Is that you full serial number... please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ - then respond here.
