  1. You need to look inside the door and inspect the window regulator. If it is fine then the motor is likely.
  2. No, auto up and down on both windows of Carrera.
  3. The wiring sub-assemblies come in left and right and Halogen or Xenon. I need to know which headlight (Halogen or Xenon)? Also, some of the early cars need to be ordered by VIN - so please PM me your VIN also.
  4. Can you take a photo and attach it here? Photos always help. Thanks.
  5. On is fine or running does not matter. I would do both - after re-training both should operate the same. If not, then you have a problem to fix.
  6. You will a Porsche specific tool to find the fault that is causing the warning. Durametric or Porsche PIWIS should tell what caused the fault.
  7. I would certainly try re-training before I spent money on a new motor (US MSRP $526.28). Obviously the dealer is tacking on additional profit on parts and I would say 1.5 hours labor is closer to actual. Anyway - press and hold the down window button and continue to hold for 10 seconds after it is all the way down. The do the same for up. If the window then works as it should then you are done. I doubt the dealer can "guess" it is the motor without opening up the door and checking the condition of the window regulator (cable). In my experience a motor failure is fairly rare as most issues are the regulator (at half the motor cost).
  8. Did you send the error to Durametric for tech support? They do fix problems when they know about them.
  9. Just do the clutch bleed now. It is okay to do it last.
  10. O-ring (on oil filter canister) proper placed?
  11. Completely different pump/drive - but you are welcome to try it.
  12. Did you follow the Lost Radio Code FAQ to get the correct serial number?
  13. Of course the GT3 is a completely different engine. My guess is weight, strength, heat transfer, and cost. The aluminum intake on the X51 package is about four times the cost of the stock.
  14. It does not show on the Porsche parts list - which means they do not sell that part. Your best hope is a salvage yard - the pump changed in MY04 so look for a pre 2004 model year 996 or 996TT Cabriolet.
  15. There is no fill plug (or hole) on a MY1999 996 (see the DIY here).
  16. You have already posted this twice and your first duplicate has been removed. Per the site Guidelines/Rules... this topic is another duplicate and is closed. 17. Stock fenders - no rubbing anywhere. My rear wheels are 10 inch x 18 x 65 mm offset. My front wheels are 8 inch x 18 x 52 mm offset.
  18. Likewise I have them on my 1999 C2... Name: Sumitomo HTR Z III Tires Description: No description provided.
