  1. Exact model and year of your car, please...
  2. Did you check the oil level in the front drive?
  3. D6 is the HVAC system. The engine cooling radiator fans are C8 and C10.

  5. The vacuum in is off of the check valve (A). (C) is the solenoid and the two lines out go to the muffler valves. (B) is a vacuum tank.
  6. Porsche specs 0W-40 or in hot climates 0W-50.
  7. The PSE operates a solenoid that in turn operates mechanical valves via engine vacuum. So, you may have a weak solenoid or a vacuum leak. Start by tracing back from the valves on each muffler (be careful they can get very hot).

  10. If it has a 4 digit code then this might work... Try 0650
  11. Brake pads or stones caught in the brake dust shield.
  12. If you disconnected the cable then you need to follow the factory workshop manual: Insert support bracket sleeve on the selector lever cable in the support bracket on the selector support. Make sure the two plastic clips engage properly. (See enlarged view). 1. Insert selector support and connect electrical plug connections. 2. Tighten fastening nuts. 3. Insert support bracket sleeve on the selector lever cable in the support bracket on the selector support. Make sure the two plastic clips engage properly. 4. Push selector lever cable all the way back (see enlarged view); this shifts the transmission into park. 5. Move selector lever to position P. 6. Engage the selector lever cable into the open adjuster and close the adjuster (see enlarged view). The locking sleeve on the adjuster must move to the end position automatically. 7. Engage cable nipple in the keylock lever. 8. Insert adjuster on the keylock cable into the support bracket. Make sure the two retaining clips engage properly. 9. Install center console → 68 17 19 Removing and installing center console. 10. Install selector knob → 37 04 19 Removing and installing selector knob. Also, make sure you got the electrical connectors properly seated.
  13. Porsche stopped printing manuals in 2006. You can now only have access to service manuals through a PIWIS leased diagnostic tool or via Porsche PIWIS TSI website.
