  8. Yes, throttle, windows, sun rood will all need re-training. The DME will re-train also but it will do that automatically in the first 5 miles or so.
  9. Well, next on my list would be to inspect both the motor mounts and the transmission mount. Engine mounts are known to fail eventually.
  10. Then your choices are few... You might find one in a salvage yard, or find a repair shop that can replace just the LCD, or pay Porsche for the upgraded control unit (about USD 855).
  11. A common source of that type of noise is the muffler heat shields. Check for loose muffler heat shields or if they are touching either the muffler or the car body.

  13. Try retraining the windows. Hold the down button until the window is all the way down - and continue holding for 10 seconds. Do the same for raising the window - 10 seconds at full closed. That will likely cure your problem.
  14. Most of the good Porsche repair shops will have a PIWIS. The reprogramming will take less than one hour.
  15. Looks like the check valve (item 21) to me.
  16. Yes, you will need a PIWIS to do the handover from the old PASM controller to the new one. 1. Connect the PIWIS tester 9718 to the vehicle and start it. Switch on the ignition. >> Continue. 2. Select the vehicle type. 3. Using the >> key, move from the vehicle type to the list of control units. 4. Select PASM and press >> . 5. In the PASM menu, select Control unit replacement and press >> . 6. Select Read codes and press >> . 7. On the screen of the PIWIS tester appears the message Coding read-out complete >> . 8. Switch off the ignition and replace control unit. 9. Switch to the Special functions menu and perform the vehicle handover using the F8 key. 10. In the Special functions menu, erase All fault memories by pressing >> . 11. Switch on ignition. Once the control unit has been replaced, the vehicle data is uploaded under the Write in data menu (see Section 7). Press >> . 12. PIWIS tester displays Coding write-in complete >> . 13. Carry out a test drive and read out fault memory.
  17. It is always best if you can give us the exact model and year of your car.
  18. Does' that go into the air injection pump system? If so, then check that page in PET.
  19. When I see random seemingly unrelated intermittent electronic faults on a Cayenne the first two things I think of are battery and grounds. These cars are really susceptible to a weak battery or corrosion on the main ground cables. I would check those first.
